Everbuild Roll and Stroll Contract Carpet Protector, Clear, 600mm x 50m

Was perfect when we had plumbers in installing a new boiler. We found our rhythm with one person standing in front slowing rolling rolling and the other following pressing down the carpet protector with something sturdy like a block of wood, heavy book. Rolling out a bit, pressing down, then rolling out some more. When the work was completed it was easy to remove, the carpets where clean and were not sticky.

This is an excellent high quality product - far better than more expensive versions I've seen in DIY stores. It's wider, thicker and sticker than a very expensive version of this product I bought from Homebase. Make my decorating a hassle free dream. It can be a little difficult to work with, it does like to stick to itself - think of a big roll of sellotape. But with perseverance and a bit of practice, it provides great protection. I wish I'd bought more of the stuff as I ran out just before the end of the job, hence buying a more expensive, worse version of this product. Highly recommended, just buy more than you need.

Great product and sticks well. Its a lttle difficult to cover the stairs however the trick is to take your time, have patience and apply carefully. I cut strips to cover the entire stairs. So far its doing the job its intended too. I gave it 4 stars as its not as sticky on the vertical parts of the stairs. Lay flat its fine. Definitely worth considering if you are in need of something to protect your carpets.

I really wasn't sure if this was going to protect my living room carpet when we had a party on a wet day with a gazebo outside our French doors but I needn't have been concerned it worked really well. It took a bit of time and practice to work out the best way to lay it but once we had it went down really well and was quite unobtrusive. One of our concerns was if the ladies high heels would go through the plastic but they didn't so all was good! Once the party was over we managed to take it up without any problems and it left the carpet looking just as it had before the event and I shudder to think what it would have been like without it! Thoroughly recomended!

Great product. Why didn't I know of this years ago? Had, well still having a new kitchen. Taking forever but that's another story. Easy to use. This has been tested with heavy items being dragged across it and its quite sturdy. Some tears on the stairs due to dragging heavy cabinets up there (first floor kitchen) . Use the yard brush on it to sweep up sawdust. Painting is easier than having sheets bunching up on the floor. Hasn't lifted to cause trip hazard. Took up the strips in the dining room and it came up easily enough without any residue after 4 weeks of being down. If only my kitchen fitter was as reliable!!

Horrendous to use on stairs I lost my temper and threw it in the bin. It will stick to itself no problem but it is an absolute swine to get it to stick to the carpet I hate this stuff and it made me want to set fire to the house and go live in a forest.

Does a great job

Would not reccomend using this if you intend to put it down by hand. It’s a massive pain in the backside to manage especially if doing by yourself. It works ok once down although I thought it would stick a little better. I would not reccomend using this unless you have a proper roller system you’d be better off taping down corex or the heavy duty paper

We used other type of this plastic and it was just a little sticky. But this one is as sticky as normal office tape and we were afraid to use it to protect floor during renovation. I don't want to spend weeks then to clean a glue from floor after this sticky plastic. So as we have opend a pack we can't return it to Amazon. Even can't imagin what for we can use it.
