Is this dishwasher safe? Thanks!

Sorry haven’t got a dishwasher but it’s a very good item to have if you just need a single cup of coffee

If the measuring lines are on the outside, how do I know when the water level reaches the right line...unless the filter is transparent???

I used trial and error but it worked out OK from the start. I added a size 4 filter and stopped pouring a couple of centimetres from the top of the filter and it was perfect for a normal sized regular mug. I don't have milk though so adjust accordingly. Once you get it right it is easy thereafter.

how much coffee do you need in grams

Hi Obviously it depends on how many cups you are making, how strong you like your coffee and how intense/ strong the coffee is. I drink it black so I might make it a little weaker than for a coffee with milk If I am making one large mug, I put in two scoops ( i.e. 2 x 7grams) I don't fill water to the top tho' if I am making one mug. I slowly pour water in so it reaches only about a third up the filter and repeat If I am making for two people i might put in 3.5 scoops( ie 24 grams. ) Happy coffee drinking J
