Awesome cake kit!!!!!!
So I normally don’t write reviews, but I felt like I had to this time. I purchased this item to make a cake for my parents 60 Wedding Anniversary. It was a nod from their original wedding cake with columns. (No one uses them are wants them for wedding cakes anymore). I do not look at it until 3 days before I was going to use them and after opening I was very puzzled on how this would work? I went to the reviews and of course I just focused on the negative and I started to panic about the huge mistake I made. Once I stop freaking out and I looked at the pieces and studied them along with the pictures on this site, I realized how it all went together. It was exactly what I wanted and needed to give my parents the cake they wanted. I attached a photo of the cake and wanted people to know it is and was a great buy!

Beautiful wedding cake divider set
This wedding cake set is nicely made and a very good purchase for the price. When I went shopping for new wedding cake dividers, this was what I wanted, and I was very pleased when I received it. I have done wedding cakes for years. I had quit it because I retired, but I just might put this set to work and make more than just for my grandson and his bride this month.

Is not as advertised. Buyer beware!
The columns do not attach to the plates. The plates only have 3 "nipples" (where the columns are supposed to attach?) I guess the 4th column is supposed to fit down the middle.... in the advertised photo, there isn't a column shown in the middle.... using three columns is not the look I was going for! Also the columns are NOT hollow. The ones that do have a hole do not accommodate the rods that came with the kit. Since I need these immediately, I can't return them and purchase more. I will have to either try to glue them down to make them stable or redesign the whole cake, which is not an option!
