JJC Macro Photography Arm LED Light w Rechargeable Battery,36cm Long

Fitted a mounting shoe on the corner of the object stage of my microscope to hold this and it now provides excellent controllable illumination of opaque subjects when required.

Quite bright and very versatile. Some people have said that the lights are too short if using a longer lens but the key issue is that these are attached the camera via a COLD shoe attachment. As such, there is no electronic connection from camera to lights and these can be mounted elsewhere, say on a gorilla pod nearer the subject to be lit. With such adaptation these represent an extremely economical purchase

The lighting is effective when you are close to the subject and the arms are easy to adjust. The individual dimming/brightness is also a good function. But, the unit is not held tightly in the hotshot shoe and so it quite easily rotates a little from side to side. This is mostly evident when adjusting the arms. Otherwise it's quite a good unit.

I have a speedlite, a ring flash and various LED boxes for my macro photography. I'm a big fan of this lighting kit. The arms are flexible enough to manoeuvre into position, but stiff enough to stay put. There is some unwanted flexing around the cold shoe and main body of the light, but there's no sign of fatigue, so shouldn't be anything to worry about overall, but I'll be keeping an eye on it anyway.It appears that you can charge it while it's being used. I'm not recommending that you should do this, but if, like me, you are taking 100+ shots for a stacked macro image, not running out of light during the session is a huge win.I'll update this review if needed, but right now this get a big recommendation from me.

Not bright enough or perhaps large enough to give enough light and also a bit weighty

They are very good for shorter lenses, they bend into the petal shape lens hoods of short to mid zoomsThe light is fine for macro and doesnt give too much reflection, they can be bent and contoured, it would have been nice to have a little more length to the arms but sufficient for primes and macro lenses up to 105mm comfortably.

Ideal para dar buena iluminación a fotografía macro. Cómo es flexible puedo dirigir la luz según los resultados que quiero obtener.

A questo prezzo chiaramente non possiamo chiedere di più. La luce non è tantissima ma per divertirsi con le macro indoor può bastare. L'unica pecca è che mancano 3 o 4 cm per usarla con lenti un po' più lunghe. Con il mio 105mm ad esempio fatico moltissimo.
