Great set for teaching numbers and place values. It comes with a lot of pieces so different concepts can be demonstrated easily and the colorful blocks are appealing to children. Kids who like numbers, patterns, and math will love this set.

This is going to help my son learned his ten blocks. And this will make learning fun and easy for him. I would buy this again.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this base-ten set! The material doesn’t feel like cheap plastic at all it feels sturdy, durable, and well made. The colors are great, and the pieces are easy for my child to handle and understand. As a homeschool parent, I especially love how practical this set is for hands on math lessons. The whiteboard makes it incredibly easy to teach and reinforce place value concepts like ones, tens, and hundreds. Being able to physically build numbers and then write them on the board has made our lessons much more interactive and easier to explain. I also really appreciate the box it comes in. It makes storing all the pieces together easy and keeps everything organized between lessons. The only downside was that the included Expo marker didn’t work. Thankfully, we had spare markers on hand, so it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, this is a great addition to our homeschool math supplies, and I’m very happy with the quality and usefulness of the set.

It would be helpful if there were more than 10 rods so you could use this tool when moving to subtracting with regrouping.

Couldn't get my granddaughter to try any math games to improve her confidence and understanding. She used this for one hour and completely understood basic calculations for base 10. The high quality folding write on board was perfectly designed to expedite. She was so excited, she immediately wanted to take the whole set in to share with her math teacher. I haven't seen them since. Which is fine. I hope others are having as much fun with this as she does!
