Can set up in different configurations depending on what you need.Usefulness/Appearance/Fun Factor: **** 4 stars- Took a star away here because the inside roller, while helpful with the sliding of the door, does prevent the door from sitting as flush to the wall. This will leave a slight gap on the sides when the door is fully closed. NOTE this was also due in part because there was trim on the baseboard and around the door. Could have cut a pocket in the trim before installing.

I used this item to secure my outside sliding shed door. It was easy to configure and mount. I’m hoping it will “weather”!
