Is this spray bottle glass or plastic?

The Sitz Bath Spray comes in a 2oz cobalt blue glass bottle.

If this contains alcohol does it burn upon application?

Sitz Bath Spray contains a small amount of alcohol used during the extraction process of the herbs. The feedback that we hear from moms is that Sitz Bath Spray is soothing and has a cooling effect. One of the most popular ways to use this herbal perineal spray is to spray it on a pad and then put it in the freezer to create an herbal ice pack.

Is this product gluten free? I see grain alcohol listed in the ingredients list.

Thank you for your question. The alcohol in this product is produced from cane, and it does not contain gluten.

How do you remove the straw? It seems like it is on there pretty tightly

Generally, the straw will just come out with a good pull and maybe a little wiggling. If you find that that isn't working for the sprayer top you have, snipping the straw with scissors close to the cap should also enable upside-down spraying.
