This compost spreader has been a great addition to my lawn care equipment. Assembly was straightforward, and it’s built much sturdier than I expected. It rolls smoothly across the lawn and spreads compost, screened topsoil, peat moss, and other materials evenly without creating large clumps. The adjustable handle is comfortable to use, and the large drum covers a good amount of ground before needing a refill, making bigger lawn projects much faster. Cleanup is simple, and the overall construction feels durable enough to last for years with normal use. If you regularly topdress, overseed, or improve your soil, this spreader is absolutely worth the investment. It saves a lot of time and gives much more consistent results than spreading material by hand. Highly recommended!

Awesome! I use this to spread topsoil and it does a fantastic job. Spreads evenly. I'm 72 and it's easy to fill and use.

Works better than expected. My vision of what it should do was fulfilled. It spreads topsoil and lawn soil effectively. The construction is solid, but I do feel like it could have been machines a little more precisely. Also, the hinges on the drum are just slots and tabs which does not seem ideal, but overall I am satisfied with this product

I’m not sure why most people give this and other rollers a bad review except for issues with the gate mechanism. On this unit, it’s not a problem. I appreciate that they’re on the sides and not in the middle. They’re also extremely secure. The only issue, if you can call it one, is taking the time to ensure the gate is in the proper position prior to attempting to close it. If you look at my included photos, I’ve added one showing the best way to load material. The second shows the coverage. For coverage, if you’re expecting a 2” layer, as some peat moss bags suggest, that’s not going to happen. This is meant for coverage up to about a 1/4” to maybe a bit more if you make multiple passes. If I were to knock on anything it would be the difficulty of removing oversized debris to include sticks. In the bags I purchased, there would be a couple handfuls per bag. I lifted this onto my trashcan and opened the door to shake it out. It’s not exactly easy to handle. I suppose you could detach the push/pull handle each time but I won’t be doing this. Overall, for planting new grass seed and patching, the 1/4” layer is doing just fine. The assembly was easy and the unit appears to be rather solid.

After reading some bad reviews I normally can pick out the ones that are BS. So I ordered this. The drum is pretty much one piece all you have to do is attach the handle. Took about 5 minutes to put together. The powder coating on this thing is really thick. The construction of the drum is heavy metal so it will last a long time. The handle adjustability is meh, it only moves up about 2 in. The thing is a tank and will last you a long time. Glad I purchased this I put it to use immediately and it hasn't let me down. I wish they had some type of attachment to hook it to the back of the lawn tractor. It's built strong and better than probably the name brand ones. It's easy to use and easy to clean. It's the perfect size when it's full it's not very heavy to push.

This thing with half a bag top broken up top soil and some compost works better than duct tape and that’s saying something. We were amazing at how well it worked all the junk from the compost stayed in the cage. Dumped it in a wheel barrow once the dirt all fell. Can’t say enough good about it. First use so no idea on how well the metal holds up. Probably gonna smack the spots scuffed up from moving it on concrete with a spray can just to save the metal cause it’s damn useful.

So far it's held up well. I used it in my front. And back yard. I used it to evenly spread soil and then after seed, my peat moss. I do not have a large yard. I've rented a peat moss spreader from HD. I got tired of rickety old cumbersome pieces of equipment. The last time I got one from HD the buckle would not stay closed and made for a very frustrating session. It didn't help that it's located in the center. It was abused rental equipment in need of replacement. 🙄 On THIS piece the buckles are on the side. This product is much smaller in size than the HD rental. Which has it's pros and cons. 1.) pro-very manageable and fits in all the corners of my small property. 2.) cons- it doesn't hold a lot so you do have to refill it more often. At the end of the day my lot is small and so it's not a big deal to refill more often. If I can get 4 uses out of, its paid for itself. I'm not about disposable products so I do purchase with intention. I hope it lasts. I also have to find place to store it. But for me it was worth the purchase and it was about $75 bucks. It's NOT meant for heavy duty use. The welds seem sturdy for my light use but if you're doing anything bigger than 1/4 acre it's probably not a good fit. If you have a larger property then you will benefit from a larger more commercial unit like what HD rents. But for the small yard people who don't want to waste space on large commercial equipment or having to rent something this is for you. If you still want to evenly spread some soil or peat moss this is a very nice bonus yard/garden gadget to have.

Works as expected. Putting it together is really simple. I love that you can totally remove the fill hatch and not have to wrestle with it while filling. It does it's job well.

Premier produit VEVOR et je suis agréablement surpris. C'est très bien construit et solide. La peinture est belle et dure. J'ai roulé 5 verges de terre et ça fonctionne à la merveille. Je pourrais pas faire autant et aussi bien sans cette épandeur. Pour le prix ça donner un résultat qui en vaut la peine. Quand j'ai terminé la saison, j'ai retirer la poignée et remis l'épandeur dans la boite tout comme il avait été reçu et j'ai mis dans la remise pour l'hiver.

Ottimo attrezzo perfettamente funzionante, mi ha facilitato la riseminato.
