These are great. I wanted something with more coverage and these are perfect. I’m 5’4” and 125 lb. The medium was a little loose for swimwear so I returned it and ordered the small. I also first tried the 9” length. While it was comfortable, it felt a little odd for swimwear, like it would cling to your legs when wet. So I ended up with the small 7” shorts which seem perfect. I like everything about the design - the high waist, the lightweight fabric, the zippered pockets.

I ordered these for our Hawaii trip and they ended up being my favorite thing to wear. First, they are incredibly comfortable. I appreciate that they are lined, so it’s like built-in underwear. The fabric is stretchy. The waist is high and supported my abdominal area. Second, they have pockets. Not huge, but big enough to be functional. I love pockets. Third, they dry fast. They dried faster than my swim suit top. Fourth, they are very versatile. I used them for hiking, cliff jumping, swimming, surfing, snorkeling…everything. I think these would be great for boating and other water sports as well. They pair well with any swim suit top and look decent enough to wear to walk around in with a T-shirt to grab something to eat. I don’t like wearing beach/swim attire at fast casual dining places, but with the right shirt, easily convert to “shorts.” For reference, I’m middle-aged, 5’8” and about 145lbs. Size medium was a perfect fit. I highly recommend them.

These fit really well, with the waistband coming above the navel. The pockets are nice when dry, but in the water they bubble up like crazy. I don’t usually wear shorts or swimsuits, but these were great for a trip. The 3” length was more flattering on me than other, longer shorts. I like this brand for their UPF shirts and swim/outdoor wear. Basics that are flattering enough and affordable. UPF shirts I’ve had from this brand have lasted over 2y of almost daily summer swims. Picture shows the grey, but I ended up keeping the black ones.

At least I love these shorts. (Finding the right swim top to go with them was another issue.) comfortable, stays put without feel constrictive. I'm 70 years old, 5", 160lbs and purchased the large with 7" inseam in the aqua blue. Color is as shown, shorts feel well constructed and dried fairly quickly. Looking to minimize skin exposure for the sake of UV rays and modesty. It was nice to walk to the beach without needing a coverup. Given the cost of bathing suits, $40 seems like an OK price for the bottom half. Plus, this is something I could actually wear outside of a swimming pool or beach. Bayleaf didn't have much selection in short sleave swim tops so went else where for that.

These shorts are a must have. They fit very well and are the perfect length for a person my age, (66). I usually wear a size 12 in pants and purchased the Large. They have two zipped pockets and a lining. They do not look like swimsuit bottoms and I was able to wear them after we left the beach and went shopping. I first purchased a pair in navy and then purchased another pair in black.

I purchased 2 pair. One each of medium and Large. I am 5’3”, 126 lbs. I wanted a swim short that covers my backside. The medium fit perfect as swim shorts and the Large was comfortable as loose shorts. The shorts have a wide band at the waist that makes the shorts easy to slip on, however where the band attaches inside to the shorts liner was scratchy. I found a silky underwear worn works well to protect against the stitching. I don't care for the material as swim shorts but nice as shorts.

Love theses swim trunks as a longer length. I chose the 5” and perfect for more coverage! Slimming look and comfortable. True to size

I give 3 stars because of the pocket and some sewing issues. First time a tried it on, the pockets opened not making a sleek look like on the pictures even if the size is ok. Sides waves due to some seams to fix the pockets to the short ovelaped at some places. Had to sew the pocket openings to ameliorate the look. Those short were 54$ can $ should not have those defaults. Baleaf should pay more attention to their quality because it is the second time I have an issue, the other was for a pair of pants that one leg was 1/2 inch shorter than the other.

These are comfortable and they fit according to the size chart, but they are totally see-through. I've only worn them on top of my bathing suit bottoms cuz of this. I was hoping to wear them out to other places as just regular, non swimming type shorts, but that will definitely not be happening lol!
