Fantastic quality
Treated myself to an upgrade and I am really pleased with the quality. Smooth and precise travel at the face, really improves the time in which I can dial in my work.

Poor build quality
It was really good to start with but after a couple of months of light home use it stopped working. Unfortunately it happened after the return period. Seeing as I can’t return it I stripped it to see what was wrong, it turned out that some of the teeth were badly formed and separated. A shame as I have usually found starrett to be good quality

I was dubious as I have heard about so many fake ones liking about, this however appears to be legit. It’s a beautiful tool and I’m looking forward to getting some time workin with it
