How big will the calf expand? I have 17" calves and wondering if these will fit.

If you look on the website it will tell you the exact circumference of each style. For a 17” calf they have wide calf boots. The regular styles with the adjustable backs only go up to 15.2 per the website.

I notice a red emblem in the bottom sole (on Amazon) but on the Hunter website, the boots do not have this red emblem? Is this authentic?

That’s actually a trait of authenticity and the “original tall rain boot” does actually have that emblem on the website as well. Maybe you’re looking at a different style of boot. I think the “original tour” might not have it and Hunter has been changing they’re styles up.

Which is the shipping weight?

9 pounds, including an outer box.

I usually wear a 6.5 but I have a wide foot, normally order a 7 in boots should i do the same?

These boots run 1/2 size large, but your width causes concern in suggesting you purchase these in a 6. If you have a particularly wide foot, it would be much safer to suggest buying the 7 in this boot to afford you the room to comfortably wear them. Furthermore, it may allow you to more easily wear heavier socks and/or the Hunter welly socks. Hope that's helpful.
