i have not papered in 20 years and this stuff is great. i do know how to paper but paste the wall was new to me and i wont be going back. my advice is: cut all your paper prior to hanging. top tip, always write "top" at the top of each drop with a pencil when cutting the paper. slowly pour the packet contents in and mix, mix, mix (i used one of those metal paint paddles in my drill) till it goes thick then keep mixing for about 20-30 secs after that then LEAVE to stand for a minimum of 5 min the MIX AGAIN at which point the paste will take on a more translucent colour (you will notice the difference). only apply the paste to the wall enough for one drop of wallpaper at a time. i used a brush for cutting in at top, sides and bottom and a roller to fill in the rest, i put the adhesive on like i would emulation paint. dont go mad and apply sparingly. you need to work fairly fast as the paste does dry a bit making it less slippy. i had a good 5 min to hang each drop. i hung two rolls of paper (6 matched drops) and i only used about 1/4 of the paste so should get 5 rolls easy.

My first time using Paint the Wall Paste. I've been wallpapering since I was 16. I'm 75. Love this technique. Was so easy. Most paper today is peel and stick but I really prefer using wallpaper and paste. I know I'm getting good adhesion. No bubbles and no peeling. The paper has been up about 6 months now. Very satisfied.

Mixes easy, glue holds really well. Makes up way more than you need. Pasted 6 rolls and had a lot left over.

This was my first time using paste the wall paste. It worked exactly as stated and I had quite a bit left over. It was used on a bathroom.

I love that it's not pre-mixed so you can use as little or as much as you want at a time and save the rest. It has a really long working time- It seems to only harden when it touches paper, so if you mix it in a plastic tray it will stay liquid for a long time.
