Cerave Renewing SA Cleanser, 8 fl oz

Been using daily for over a year. This has been great for reducing blemishes without irritating my sensitive skin. No problems using it near my sensitive eyes, either. Initially recommended to me for exfoliating my body before shaving, and doing so seems to reduce bumps and ingrown hairs (as long as I also use a fresh razor blade with good shaving cream and such)

My dermatologist turned me on to this brand and its all Ive been using. My skin looks and feels wonderful definitely not like that of a 55 year old mother of 4 and grandmother of 7 that's for sure!

Regardless of how it is marketed, this was a bit too drying for my mature skin, but not enough that I am pitching it. Moisturizer is taking up the slack. It has not irritated my sensitive skin, and that has frequently been an issue for me. The price is right. If you have skin a tad on the oily side, give it a try.

I like this face soap. It was recommended by my Dermotologist and has exceeded my expectations

Got this for my friend, it works well for her. Didn’t work well for me though.

As a Master Stylist & Esthetician I only use products that preform. This cleanser keeps skin clear, hydrated & glowing. What a deal!

Used this as a head-to-toe wash for the best part of one year, which kept my skin clear and moisturised. I have a dry skin type, with combination skin on my face. But still get blackheads and spots including chest and back from time to time. And during that year of use it kept my skin nourished and clear… even glowing. BUT, after taking a break from it for a month to save money and due to curiosity of would happen… BAM! BREAKOUTS GALORE. Head-to-toe breakouts, texture issues and severe flaking on my body. So I went back to using this and within a week (no kidding) my skin texture started to improve and blackheads started to clear away (head-to-toe). Now after a week, my skin is no longer dry and blackheads have gone. A few stubborn ones, but mostly gone. The natural glow of skin is what I am happiest about the most! I think if you have severe acne, you may need something stronger or prescription based. But for regular folk with semi problematic skin, I recommend this! Top tip for effective use: massage into the skin between 30-60 seconds. This allows time for the BHA to do its job. Otherwise you’ll be washing product down the drain, if you rinse off too quickly. Since doing this, my skin has returned back to normal very quickly. And, if you plan on using this, don’t add additional exfoliating products (chemical or physical e.g. a bathing mitt etc). Let the product do the job of exfoliation. It’s already a effective formulation without drying the skin out.

Ceràve always does what it says. I found this wash extremely watery compared to the samples I got on pharmacies here. Only time will tell if it does indeed moisturise the skin while cleaning it .. I've used the smoothing bumps cream and it is we very good. My elbow is seriously dry , rough , cracked, painful and would probably bleed only for moisturizing. Hopefully this wash helps in showers

Ich benutze schon seit einiger Zeit die Bodylotion von CeraVe und bin damit wirklich sehr zufrieden. Deshalb wollte ich auch das passende Peeling-Duschgel ausprobieren, um meine Körperpflege ein bisschen zu ergänzen. Zunächst mal zur Aufmachung: Besonders sexy sieht die Flasche nicht aus. 😄 Das Design erinnert mich eher an eine Apotheke als an ein schickes Pflegeprodukt. Aber gut, hier geht es schließlich um den Inhalt und nicht um die Verpackung. Und der hat mich wieder einmal überzeugt! Ich neige vor allem an den Oberschenkeln zu eingewachsenen Haaren und kleinen roten Pickelchen (mein Hautarzt spricht von einer leichten chronischen Follikulitis). Deshalb achte ich bei meiner Körperpflege besonders auf eine gute Verträglichkeit und darauf, dass meine Haut möglichst glatt und geschmeidig bleibt. 👍 Was mir gefällt: Die Reinigung ist komplett parfümfrei, was ich persönlich richtig gut finde. Ich mag stark parfümierten Duschgele überhaupt nicht und möchte nach dem Duschen auch nicht unbedingt wie eine wandelnde Parfümerie riechen. 😄 Vor allem für mich als Mann war das immer wieder ein Thema, weil vermeintlich gute Pflegeprodukte aus der Drogerie geruchsmäßig meistens eher auf feminin gemünzt sind. Besonders positiv finde ich die sanfte Peelingwirkung. Die Haut fühlt sich nach der Anwendung richtig schön glatt an, ohne dass ich dabei irgendwelche Reizungen oder unangenehmes Brennen bemerke. Ich benutze das Produkt meistens zusammen mit einem Peelinghandschuh oder einem Luffaschwamm, es funktioniert aber genauso gut, wenn man es einfach mit den Händen verteilt. Und das Duschgel schäumt wirklich ordentlich! Beim ersten Mal habe ich direkt vier Pumpstöße genommen, weil ich dachte, dass ich bei meiner Körpergröße entsprechend viel brauche. Großer Fehler, das war viel zu viel.😄 1-2 Pumpstöße reichen in Kombi mit dem Schwamm aus und die 400-ml-Flasche dürfte deshalb ziemlich lange halten. Die Pumpvorrichtung finde ich in der Dusche übrigens auch sehr praktisch. Was mich neben den erwähnten Vorteilen am meisten überzeugt, ist das Ergebnis. In Kombination mit meiner CeraVe-Bodylotion hat sich mein Hautbild tatsächlich sichtbar verbessert. Die Haut an meinen Beinen wirkt insgesamt glatter und gleichmäßiger, und auch die kleinen roten Pickelchen sind bei mir weniger auffällig geworden. Ich könnte mir vorstellen, dass die mit weiterer regelmäßiger Anwendung komplett verschwinden. Natürlich sollte man keine Wunder erwarten. Aus problematischer Haut wird nicht über Nacht makellose Haut. Aber gerade das Hautgefühl ist bei mir inzwischen wirklich klasse. Ich glaube, so glatte Beine hatte ich noch nie. 😄 Auch die Verträglichkeit ist bei mir hervorragend. Ich habe schon verschiedene milde Pflegeprodukte ausprobiert, aber diese Kombination funktioniert für mich bisher am besten. ⭐ Mein Fazit: Das Peeling-Duschgel ist zwar nicht gerade das günstigste Produkt im Regal, aber durch die hohe Ergiebigkeit relativiert sich der Preis für mich deutlich. Dazu kommen die sehr gute Verträglichkeit, der Verzicht auf Parfüm und vor allem das tolle Hautgefühl. Zusammen mit der Bodylotion ist das inzwischen meine neue Standardpflege geworden. Ich werde das Produkt definitiv wieder kaufen und bin gespannt, was ich aus dem CeraVe-Sortiment noch für mich entdecke. Für mich eine klare Kaufempfehlung und verdiente 5 von 5 Sternen!
