I used the books from this set, magoosh's online program, and Khan Academy to study for it for a few weeks, just went through the material until I felt I had a basic handle, skipped anything I really didn't seem to understand well (since I was short on time) and focused on really getting what I could. Got a 162 on quant and 165 on verbal. I had some other GRE books I tried first, and these are just far and above better. I would suggest them to anyone. My wife says that she is actually more proficient at the problems due to the break down of the problem types, instead of having one jumbo book of tests (she has a few of these too). From what I am reading, the newer versions do not differ significantly from the very last version, so it makes sense to shop around for the very last versions to save some $$.

I didn't know about the GRE until the summer I needed to take it. I used the books from this set, magoosh's online program, and Khan Academy to study for it for a few weeks, just went through the material until I felt I had a basic handle, skipped anything I really didn't seem to understand well (since I was short on time) and focused on really getting what I could. Got a 162 on quant and 165 on verbal. I had some other GRE books I tried first, and these are just far and above better. I would suggest them to anyone.

This series breaks these areas down very nicely so the student can focus on the area which needs the most attention. My wife says that she is actually more proficient at the problems due to the break down of the problem types, instead of having one jumbo book of tests (she has a few of these too). From what I am reading, the newer versions do not differ significantly from the very last version, so it makes sense to shop around for the very last versions to save some $$.

Great Study Book
This book is full of questions that will help you familiarize yourself with the GRE or even the GMAT. With so many questions, this book will build your confidence on various parts of the GRE. I have notice improvements in my understanding and recognition of certain types of questions and have immediately sped up my ability to answer questions correctly. I believe this book will help me attack the GRE! I would recommend it.

Great service by Amz; cheaper than flipkart
I ordered this book on a Thursday night (very late night, during a particularly gruelling study session). I got the book by Monday afternoon. Great service by Amazon. The book is in excellent condition (was wrapped in 3 layers), and has the covered code that I was looking for the free Manhattan online practise tests. But the reason I purchased from Amazon & not any other website, is because it's cheaper here by almost 30% than on flipkart, and Amazon is a trusted company (plus I wanted to try out the Indian site). Great service!

EXCELLENT GUIDE FOR GRE PREP, STUDY MATERIAL, EXAMPLES AND EXPLANATIONS ARE VERY NICELY WRITTEN AND DEMONSTRATED. ONLINE MOCK EXAMS ARE OF GRE LEVEL.

Excellent Book!
While the strategies are certainly useful the best part is the tests that come along with it! The level of difficulty is quite good!
