This is the one to get! Hands down, old school, to the point, no batteries needed.
This is the one to get! Hands down, old school, to the point, no batteries needed. It is small and convenient to carry in a small utility bag or pouch. Or just place it on a shelf on your workshop area. Reads several size batteries, even 9v and it's straight to the point results.

Easy to Operate with Common sense
I like how simple it is. it requires no additional batteries except the one you are testing. It seems fairly accurate but not precise. Good to have on the go, like a camping trip.

A must-have for any household.
Inexpensive and accurate. You don't have to throw out batteries you THINK are bad. Test them first with this super-fast and very accurate tester in 5 seconds. I've been using one for 20 years and I highly recommend this battery tester.

Easy to use
I wish it was made with a a sturdier plastic, but otherwise it's okay.

My favorite design
Handy gadget to quickly evaluate AA, AAA & AAAA et.al. batteries for portable devices. I like strong batteries. A tester saves time, and frustration. Curate your battery collection. Avoid a drawer of half dead batteries. I keep this tester, or ones of similar design, in convenient places where I store or use batteries. I fumble the batteries when I use my cradle testers. Try this design. You’ll be glad you did.
