Very nice, protective sun hat - love that it reverses to 2 sides, 2 colors - mine is pink to beige. Also - fits well -I have med large and it covers my head and keeps sunlight off my neck and shoulders - Also like the removable hat ties - I usually don’t need the ties and am glad to get rid of them and pull them out when it’s windy

I’ve been looking for this exact hat FOR YEARS! 4” brim! This is the norm in Japan/Korea but hard to find in US. The brim can be folded upward to make it look cuter, or flipped down to provide maximum sun protection. Wire enforced brim and batting(?) keeps the brim from flipping up during wind gusts. The shape you see is the shape you get no matter how windy it is. Removable chin strap keeps the hat in place in windy conditions and there’s also a second strap around the brim that is adjustable to make the hat fit perfectly without causing headaches. The hat is not waterproof. However, it is pretty thick and was fine during light rain. I bought it to golf and it was perfect, didn’t obstruct my view but shaded the back of my neck, covered my ears and shaded down past my chin. And it’s still cute. There is no vent hole, no ponytail hole, but I didn’t feel like it was too hot. I got the light pink which is reversible to a neutral light color. It’s packable but will retain its great shape when opened back up. I had seen this hat on one of my friends when she was at the zoo and I could just tell from looking at it, this was it. I’ve wasted so much money on visors that give me headaches, flimsy lightweight hats that don’t withstand windy golf conditions, hats with 3” brims that don’t cover my jawline, hats that fold up but don’t have great shape when worn, hats with great coverage but make me look like a ninja. This is not my first hat purchase. I am a hat connoisseur, THIS IS THE HAT YOU NEED, if those things I mentioned above sound familiar. In my picture I am looking down so you can see the hat better.

I REALLY like this unique hat. It is excellent quality, with many distinctive features, including a foldable, adjustable brim which gives great coverage; it can be tightened to fit the head perfectly; it includes a detachable chin strap; it’s reversible giving two color options; it’s made of breathable cotton/linen, washable material with 50+ UPF rating and blocks UVA and UVB rays, and it’s comfortable and super cute! I just ordered a second one for a Mother's Day gift for my daughter-in-law. Five stars aren't enough!

Easy to pack for a trip to the South of France. Taking off one star as the hat feels a little small and I have a smaller head. I wore it paddle boarding across the bay in Antibes and my face stayed completely protected while the draw string kept the hat secured. Dries easily if you accidentally get it wet and the brim is flexible so you can shape it around your face for the best coverage.

Love this hat, perfectly shades my face and neck, and in my opinion, is very chic for a "bucket" type hat! The small fits well on my 22.5 inch head circumference.

Quality hat, very well made. Perfect fit for my 22 1/4" head measurement. It checks all the boxes for my needs for out walking my dog in beautiful coastal oregon where it can be very windy, sunny, or overcast. The brim can be shaped any way you want it to adjust for the weather conditions. The strings are perfect to keep the hat from blowing off in the wind. This one is a keeper!

Great coverage and sun protection. Breathable and light. This is my third Solbari sun hat. I have two of the ultra wide brim cotton/linen hats for when I visit areas closer to the equator, but I got this for back home. It’s reversible but I don’t like that the tie is on the same side as the chin straps. Also I prefer the ponytail slot and the elastic head adjustment of the wide brim. In order to get this to fit my head and not fly away, I have to pull the ribbon very tight and it gives me a headache after a while. elastic is more comfortable for all day wear and easier to adjust quickly if needed. Edit: down to three stars now. I tried to remove the linen ribbon and replace it with elastic cord only to discover that the ribbon is sewn in and cannot be removed! So annoying! To make it worse, there’s not a tunnel the ribbon runs through, at least not that runs the whole way around the hat. Once I started threading the elastic through the opening, I realized it was just bunching up in the top of the head . The ribbon only stays in place because it is sewn into the forehead. Very disappointing that I can’t even modify it to have elastic.

The hat I received is different than as described. The brim is 5 inches, not 4. There is no adjustable internal drawstring, just a detachable chin strap. Appears to be poorly made with loose threads and stitching throughout. The crown of the hat is very deep: I have a normal sized head and am not able to snug the hat down onto my head without it pushing my eyeglasses or sunglasses off my face. Will be returning.

Love this hat. A snug comfortable fit and the wide brim covers my whole face. Better late than never! Perfect for travel too as the rim can be reshaped easily. A pretty blue with a beige reverse. Worth the expense.

Very nice hat - this is the second of this brand - the other is a dark green, which has faded quite a bit after about three years. The colour choice wasn't that great but I got it at a good price during the A 2 day sale.
