Yamaha HW-680W Double-Braced Hardware Pack

These stands are sturdy and high-quality. For my drum set that never leaves the room, they have been great. If you are playing out and loading equipment a lot, then maybe you want to look for a lighter hardware, but these are definitely worth the money.

Well, my cymbals are just regular zilgian and sabian cymbals. So unfortunately they don't levitate on their own.So I have to find some sort of stand to put them on.And these stands are sturdy and work.Well for what I need.I'm very happy with them!

As always, Yamaha comes through with fairly light, compact and high quality hardware. Every one of the items in the pack is great for what it is. There has been a steep price increase since I bought it a couple months ago, but this pack is still worth it.

I love Yamaha hardware – every piece of this pack is well made, lightweight, and yet plenty sturdy. If you are a hard hitter, or if you are on anything less than flat ground, the snare stand will wobble a bit, but otherwise it's all fantastic. Also, if you didn't know this, it's all modular. So you can put your snare basket in the base of one of your cymbal stands and BOOM - instant concert-height snare stand. THE ONE GLARING ISSUE: The hi-hand stand doesn't have a tilt screw on the cymbal cup. This means you can't angle your bottom hat to keep air from being trapped in between the two cymbals. This means that there's little to no chick and very little sizzle when you try to play the cymbals together. NOWHERE is this obvious in any marketing or user manual material. AND you can't buy one to add yourself...because there's no screw hole to put a tilt screw into. I contacted Yamaha about this, and they told me that was just how this cymbal is made. I've NEVER owned a hi-hat stand from any other company – Gibraltar, DW, Gretsch, Pearl, or any others – that hasn't had a tilt screw. Why they wouldn't include this vital little piece of a stand? The pack is great – but be forewarned about the hi-hat stand. You WILL have to replace the entire stand if you really want a high-quality hi-hat experience.

Turned out good with the drumset. Easy to assemble.

This was fairly easy to assemble and seems to be sturdy after three months of use. It’s also affordable. I recommend this.
