Intex Solar Cover for Swimming Pools, Rectangular 549 x 274 cm blue

I was looking for something to help keep my pool clean and to warm it up a bit and the strong bubble wrap sheets like this seemed the best option. There are different ratings on the bubble wrap so cant compare with others but this is a well known brand and well finished off around the edges. I will cut to size and probably re stitch when I know how it lies on the pool and have fitted the steps but it warms up the top 2 or 3 inches of the water and the skimmer and pump help circulate it. Cant speak for longevity as only had it 2 weeks but does the job well so far ! For the price very good for keeping the insects and muck off and warming the water a little.

I have been surprised by this - pool definitely heats up (near the surface) with it in place, and seems to retain heat overnight. I would say that having a roller for it is an essential extra though.

I've just bought my second one as they only last a couple of years. I think they are expensive for what they are, good quality bubble wrap really. However it does make a difference to the pool temperature but only by a few degrees. The water temperature went up from 18/20 to around 20/24 degrees on a sunny day. It also keeps the pool free from bugs etc. I would recommend but don't have your expectations too high. Just a tip, I also leave the pool inflatables on the top of the cover that also seems to push up the temperature. Happy days

Four weeks in and the Solar Cover is doing the job on our 24ft x 12ft pool. The Cover isn't flimsy; it feels like industrial strength bubble wrap! The children are less than gentle when ripping the Cover off the pool and dumping it on the lawn but we have yet to have a single 'bubble' popped. It is easy to pull into place and it 'clings' to the water so it doesn't blow away or move out of position with the wind. We have measured heat loss with and without the Solar Cover in place and it is certainly making a difference of perhaps 1-2 degrees which doesn't sound like a lot but every little helps! The Cover is really easy to pull back into position after we have used the pool and so it is much more likely that it will be used every time unlike our difficult-to-get-into-place tarpaulin which is usually just left on the grass. The Cover also offers protection against debris falling into the pool. The Cover comes in a big sturdy storage bag. Our Solar Cover was purchased from Splash and Relax who provided excellent delivery times and excellent customer service.

Cover keep pool clean

Seemed good to start. A year later and it is disintergrating. The bubbles are broken down and leaving plastic floating about and clogging the filter up. This is not our first pool and the other cover we have had for over 13 years and thats still absolutely fine, just a smaller one that unfortunately doesnt fit this pool. This is either not a true intex product or they have seriously dropped their quality. Not worth it.

Bought this October 19 but didn't open it till April 20 when the pool went up. April was a little early but the Covid19 boredoms and the good weather helped with this decisio . It fits the pool well and has a nice finished edge around the cover, however there are several holes through the cover where it's been folded in the packaging , doesn't affect it too much but I was expecting the item to be fully intact. So if your buying one out of season open it and check 🤔

Very happy with this item, we use in our 3m x 2m rectangle framed Intex pool, it’s a bit long so we just fold it over. I was amazed that it stays still on top of the water and doesn’t move around, it’s like it sucks to the water. The temperature of the water is definitely warmer, especially towards the end of a sunny day if it has been covered all day. The water isn’t hot but this definitely raises it a good few degrees so it’s warmer for the kids.

J’ai mis 5 étoiles parce que pour vendre une bâche d’une telle mauvaise qualité, c’est un EXPLOIT et aussi pour vous inviter à allez voir les commentaires des 1 ⭐️ Ne faites pas comme moi attiré par le prix et une relative confiance en INTEX, vous laisser berner par les commentaires positifs incompréhensibles sur cet objets! Après 2 étés d’utilisation (protégée sous un plastique l’hiver sur son rouleau, à l’intérieur), la bâche se déchire lorsqu’on veut la tirer pour l’étendre (photo 3 avec tentative infructueuse de réparation) où elle « explose » littéralement lorsqu’on la frotte par accident ou encore présente des déchirure dont je ne connais pas l’origine. Petites pastilles bleue des bulles flottant sur l’eau et diminuant l’efficacité du filtre, et nombreuses dans le nature ! Voici en plus deux photos du dépliage final de la bâche et de ses restes en vue de sa mise à la déchèterie 🤬 Entre-temps j’ai eu d’autres témoignages concernant les bâches à bulles Intex qui corrobore mon expérience !!! C’EST DONC UN PRODUIT À PROSCRIRE !! …Sauf si on est assez riche pour se payer du bon marché et qu’on prévoit de devoir le remplacer chaque année quoique j’ai lu quel certains après 3 mois étaient dégoûtés!

Acquistato più per curiosità che per effettiva fiducia nel risultato, sono rimasto veramente colpito dall'efficacia. Il telo è costituito essenzialmente da un "millebolle" polimerico di dimensioni esattamente uguali alla piscina. COn la sua applicazione effettivamente la temperatura con il sole di questi ultimi 3gg è aumentata di ben 6°C (!). Ritengo che il beneficio maggiore sia legato alla minore dispersione del calore legato all'evaporazione che viene ridotta ed allo scambio termico notturno che risulta contrastato. Infatti la differenza di temperatura tra giorno e notte è ora di soli due gradi, mentre prima l'escursione termica era mediamente sui 5-6°C. Tengo comunque a precisare che la sera oltre al telo termico applico anche il classico telo di copertura per le intemperie, quindi certamente l'effetto di isolamento risulta maggiorato. Altro aspetto degno di nota, è che la copertura termica costituisce anche un'eccellente protezione contro lo sporco esterno dovuto a fogliame, insetti e via discorrendo che non arriva più sul pelo libero dell'acqua, ma rimane depositato sul telo direttamente, lasciando quindi l'acqua assolutamente pulita. Solo per questo secondo beneficio penso proprio che l'investimento si sia già ripagato da solo. Nota importante per la conservazione del prodotto è che una volta piegato per entrare in piscina non vada poi lasciato al sole o in luogo eccessivamente caldo, in quanto le bolle d'aria tenderebbero ad espandersi rischiando di scoppiare e di perdere la loro efficacia come "buffer accumulatore" di energia termica. Ultimo aspetto spedizione/consegna: il venditore ha provveduto ad inviare il pacco adeguatamente imballato ed in tempi molto celeri. In definitiva: consigliato a dispetto del costo non propriamente economico.

se nos rompió super rápido. Para el precio y la duración que tiene no merece la pena, hay opciones más económicas que duran lo mismo.
