Great for People on the Go with their Work
I rarely do a first day review, but this is an excellent product so far. Charged fast, connected with no issues. The case is great and actually had a large pocket on the lid that perfectly fits my compact laptop stand. I'm working at my usual cafe and I'm so much more comfortable and productive than usual. If I could tweak anything, I'd add some keyboard tilt arms and make the mouse a little more dome'd for perfect ergonomics. Still a 9.9/10!

Everything you could need, all in one set!!
This keyboard and mouse with carrying case & phone holder is very sturdy, well-designed (even has a full 9-key portion) and has the ability to sync up/be programmed to two separate devices. I use this now frequently for my tablet and my cell phone (and if leaving the house, I use this for my laptop), and I love that this mouse actually functions as a true mouse on my screen (tablet). The keys feel very comfortable to type on, the keyboard itself is very portable (I don't always use the carrying case that it came with, since my laptop bag has dedicated pockets for a keyboard and mouse already). I love that there was a personalized message from the designer, along with a sticker containing all the info you would need if in case you have a warranty claim, that you can stick to the back of the keyboard. It beats having separate paperwork to keep track of. It was very easy to set up straight out of the box, although there is instructions in case you need a little extra help getting started. The battery life seems to be fine, although I haven't timed it, but I think so far it has lasted a week on a single charge, albeit not being used daily. I really appreciate that both the keyboard and mouse use USB-C to charge, as some cheaper keyboard/mouse combos either have to use standard batteries (AAA, AA, etc) or use the old micro-USB chargers, which honestly is outdated and takes forever to charge. All in all, I would give this a ten out of ten, and the only thing I can think of that would need improving would just be that I wish it could be a bit cheaper in cost. I will say though, that even though this set is a bit on the pricier side, it is well worth the investment.

Great travelling keyboard with a REAL NumPad and very thin but very capable mouse
At last! A folding keyboard with an actual numpad! Many people need a numpad for various things so it's great to have a folding keyboard for travelling which includes it. And it's an actual numpad, not a trackpad with numpad key outlines so it can serve either function -- THIS keyboard has real keys in the numpad portion. It uses USB-C port for charging, and so far I've used it for about 7 hours (spread out over 3 days) without needing to recharge! The keys have a positive feel, I have typed a lot on this keyboard with no unwanted duplicate letters/numbers. There is a NumLok key and the Function Keys can be switched between needing to use the Fn key for F1, F2, F3, etc. functions or needing to use the Fn key for the alternate uses such as screen brightness, audio volume and playback, etc. That makes this a great keyboard for anybody to use! It folds up small enough to fit into any computer briefcase or backpack for easy transport. As a musician who composes and arranges, I find this an excellent keyboard to use. When I am not in my office/studio I take my laptop with me along with a small midi keyboard for entering the music into either a notation program or a DAW so I have the setup with the laptop further away from me, the midi keyboard next on the desk and this ProtoArc foldable keyboard immediately in front of me. That allows me to work as I'm most comfortable. The mouse that's included with this package is very efficient and VERY thin. It works very well and for people with limited space in their computer bag it will be a welcome addition. However I find the included mouse to be a bit hard to work with mainly because I am so used to the thicker body of even the smallest Logitech mouse, which I am fortunate to have room for in my computer bag. BUT this mouse makes an excellent traveling companion for people with very limited space in their computer bag. The mouse is also USB-C chargeable.

Turns a Tablet Into a Portable Workstation
I recently started using Canva for my Bookstagram account, and since my Samsung tablet is about the size of a laptop screen, adding a keyboard and mouse just made sense. This setup solved my biggest problem—no more fat-fingering graphics while editing. The keyboard is full-size, which I love because it includes a number pad, dedicated arrow keys, and even a screen capture button. It folds up into a compact case that’s easy to throw in a bag, and the case itself is probably my favorite part. It also charges with USB-C and can connect through either Bluetooth or the included USB receiver, making it easy to use with different devices. I also appreciate that it automatically wakes when you unfold it instead of needing an on/off switch. Compared to a similar keyboard my husband owns, this one has sturdier hinges and a larger layout, although the mouse is slimmer than I personally prefer. The keyboard also feels a little loose when it’s open, but it has never felt unstable while typing. If you’re looking for a portable keyboard and mouse to turn your tablet into a more productive workstation, this is a great option.

Solid and Reliable
Bought this back in 2024 and I am finally having issues pop up where a key will need more force to register. Also the mouse click sometimes needs more force to register as well. Like a light touch doesn't do it anymore. Pretty satisfied with this given the price I paid vs how long I've had it and how often I use it with my work from home job. Recently picked up a second job house sitting so it is also traveling a lot now. Honestly I've only ever had it die out on me once that it actually needed a recharge. Most times I'll pop it on a charge at random every once in a blue moon out of paranoia. Like once every several months. Otherwise it is extremely reliable with staying charged and managing itself with going to sleep on its own to preserve battery. I use the dongle for connection but it does have Bluetooth capabilities I have never explored. I'll probably purchase this again once it fully dies out. My main reason for buying this was the compact foldability and the fact that I only need one dongle for both the mouse and keyboard.

Addressed- faulty keys and not registering the hits properly
UPDATE - seller did help me with a refund that was very painless. They stood by their product and offered great support and I am happy about that. There are many good reviews on this so I think I happened to get a faulty unit and maybe I will try it again in the future. 1. The device did not come paired with the dongle. This is annoying for me to have to read the manual and pair the dongle. Mouse was paired but keyboard was not. 2. The keyboard itself was very frustrating. I use my left thumb to hit the space bar and I never have issues with any keyboards, mechanical, apple Magic Keyboard, Logic Mx Keys but on this keyboard it would miss it 50% of the time! wtf! I checked monkey type and I went from 95+ wpm to 60 with more errors and have to rehit the space bar so often. I'm not changing the way I type for a keyboard. There were a few other keys that I need hit harder than others keyboards and I think it would just be hard for me to adjust since I'm only going to use this portable kb at times and I can't have so many typos so often Maybe those of you hitting the space bar closer to the enter will be fine but I always hit and can actuate the spacebar by just hitting the left edge about 1inch from the left edge. I think the spring position on this portal keyboard is off by a few mm. When unfolded there is also a slight bump due to the hinges, I can overcome it. I also wish there were some small feet in the front to give this keyboard a slight incline instead of "flat" and that may have helped the typing a little bit.

Great set for travel and work
I finally tried this folding keyboard and mouse on my trip. It's a very well-made set, connects easily to my laptop, and takes up little space when traveling. The full-size keyboard with low-profile keys and a good keystroke is very comfortable. The additional function keys on the keyboard are convenient. The mouse, despite its low profile, fits comfortably in the hand. The battery lasts a long time. I'm very happy with the purchase and recommend it.

Loved it, while it lasted
It seemed very delicate, so I was skeptical that it would give me more than a few uses, but I started using it. Right off the bat, I loved it. It stores and transports easily and is quick to pull out and put away. My only complaint was that it would fold up if I put it on my lap. I like to keep my keyboard on my lap, because that puts my hands in a relaxed typing position. Then, after a couple months, I discovered the solution that was in front of me the whole time. If I put the plastic case on my lap and the keyboard on that, it works perfectly. One benefit that I didn't expect is that it's simple to disable when my cat comes around. I often have trouble with my cat walking on my keyboard, especially when I'm not using it. Most wireless keyboards have a tiny on/off switch on the back, which is inconvenient for constantly turning them on and off. With the XKM01, all I have to do to disable it is fold up one side. Anytime I want to set the keyboard aside, all I do is fold one side, and the cat can't type anything. When I open it up, it connects instantly. Well, I'm sure it takes some finite time, but it is not long enough for me to notice the delay. By the time I press my first key, it's always connected. After several months, it was still working great, and I figured maybe it's more durable than I expected. I wasn't being harsh with it, but I was frequently taking it out and putting it away, and it handled it like a champ. Then, at about four months, the D key started having problems. I started having to press it very deliberately, or it would not register. Then, the left side started having trouble opening. (The D key is on the left hinge, and I think it was starting to interfere with the hinge action.) I found that I could get it open all the way by putting pressure on the back of the left flap as I opened it. After a month or so of that, it cured itself. It started opening like new again, and the D key was working fine. As it approached the six month mark, I started to see dashes ( - ) show up in my text, and I had to keep going back and deleting them. Then, the open square bracket ( [ ) started showing up. I discovered that the T key was no longer typing just the letter T. It was typing T- or t-. Likewise, the G key was typing G[ or g[. The - and [ keys are also typing T- and G[, respectively. Apparently, those pairs of keys have become electrically interconnected. I cannot use the keyboard like this, so it is now e-waste. The mouse still works fine, but it is too small for me. I was willing to tolerate its small size for the convenience of the keyboard/mouse combo case, but I don't want it as a stand-alone mouse. Ordinarily I would regard a product that dies after six months to be "crap". But, this keyboard, while it lasted, was so much better than any other keyboard that I am going to buy another one. I'll see if I can get more than six months out of it. My advice to ProtoArc is that if they beef it up so that it would be maybe 50% thicker but would last for years, then they will have the best keyboard on the market.

Great value for money, superb engineering
I was looking for a portable keyboard as I have a requirement to attend several sites during the week. I wanted a key board which was light to carry, full function and easy to set up. The PtotoArc foldable keyboard was the answer to my dreams, it also came with a superb mouse. Extremely happy with this purchase.
