I need to replace my berkeley water filter, do i have to buy the both black and white filter to replace them? or i can buy just the 2 white ones?

The black ones are the filters for everything except chlorine and other water purification chemicals used by municipal water authorities. The white are for the latter ( chlorine etc). If you are filtering tap water you will need both, if you are filtering well water you only need black.

Are these authentic berkey filters? the berkley company (new millennium concepts, ltd.) have claimed there are a lot of fakes out there being sold.

When ordered I got the genuine filter. Now I have no clue what they are shipping and that’s Berkey’s fault 100% They have way too many authorized distributors and don’t go after offenders / counterfeiters . They totally suck as a company from an operational point. For that reason, next time I need filters I’m going straight to propurusa and ordering their filters. They fit my Berkey and are a bit cheaper. Berkey has become cost prohibitive and is poorly run.

Which sellers are authorized berkey dealers and can be validated if i call new millennium concepts?

Purchased 4 bb9s and 4 pf2s in april 2016. one bb9 nut striped out after a year. now a second nut has striped out. can you help me?

Are you talking about the white ? Screw down bolts that hold the filters on ? Are you hand tightening or using a wrench ?
