I did quite a lot of research before purchasing this. I was specifically looking into nano-hydroxyapatite as a fluoride alternative, as it mirrors the mineral structure of tooth enamel and is often discussed in dental research for enamel support. I currently use this in the morning and a fluoride toothpaste at night. I prefer this combination approach rather than choosing one exclusively. In terms of cleaning effectiveness, it performs very well. My teeth feel smooth and properly clean after brushing — not just fresh on the surface. It removes buildup effectively without feeling harsh. Regarding pain relief and sensitivity: this does not give an immediate numbing or desensitising effect in the way some sensitivity toothpastes (like potassium nitrate-based formulas) can. However, since switching, I haven’t experienced increased sensitivity, and my teeth feel stable and comfortable. For me, it seems to support long-term maintenance rather than providing instant pain relief. One thing I particularly like is that it doesn’t leave a gritty or chalky feeling in the mouth. The texture is smooth, slightly creamy, and comfortable. It could spread slightly more easily across the teeth, and I personally wouldn’t mind a bit more foam. However, I understand that lower-foaming formulas often avoid stronger surfactants, which may be intentional in a gentler formulation. The Mild Ela Mint flavour is subtle and not overpowering. There isn’t a strong mint burn or lingering artificial smell, but my breath still feels fresh afterwards in a clean, neutral way rather than a heavily perfumed way. Colour-wise, it’s a neutral white, which I prefer over coloured gels. The 113g size is generous and lasts well with twice-daily use. Ingredient-wise, I appreciate that it’s fluoride-free, sulfate-free, vegan, and formulated around nano-hydroxyapatite rather than just cosmetic freshness. Overall, it feels like a well-researched and effective option for ongoing enamel support and daily care.

Mouth feels cleaner after one use. No nasty morning mouth anymore. Better than what I was using before. Nice subtle taste too.

Very happy with this toothpaste , I alway used sensodyne. Been using Boka for about 3 weeks my teeth are whiter and feel good .

Ive suffered from receding gums and sensitive teeth as long as I can remember, making routine dental cleans extremely painful. I’d got used to the idea this was how things were. However after swapping out my usual sensitive teeth toothpaste, with the advice of my dentist, to try a hydroxyapatite tooth paste instead and was I pleasantly surprised! Not only I am not getting cavities, which I was worried I’d get if I stopped fluoride based toothpaste, but all of my tooth sensitivity has gone after only using for 3 months. I wouldn’t have believed it had someone told me, but went for my usual dental clean and had no pain, to the point where the dental hygienist asked me if I was the same person?! She couldn’t believe none of the usual painful areas weren’t hurting. She was able to use her usual ultrasonic cleaner on me, which she wasn’t able to before. So if anyone suffering from painful teeth, I’d say give this one a try. I initially kept my original toothpaste for mornings and swapped to Boka for evenings. I now use only Boka for past 3 months and won’t go back to the previous brand I had been using exclusively for over 20 years! Can’t recommend this product more highly! Thank you for making a product that has changed my dental hygiene and sensitivity for the better.

Claims to be SLS free but has it on the ingredients list.. other than that the toothpaste is pretty good and tastes nice. But if you’re looking for an SLS free toothpaste specifically (as I was), maybe look elsewhere

I’ve been using this for about a week now and it does leave my teeth feeling fresh and clean. There’s no sensitivity after use and I only need to use a small amount each time. There’s taste is quite normal and doesn’t taste weird or anything. Tastes like normal mild mint toothpaste.

So I’ve been using this company’s brand of toothpaste for about two years, I haven’t had a dental checkup for about four years and at my last one the dentist said I may need a filling soon. Hand on heart I’m telling the truth, the dentist said at my latest checkup “oh that’s interesting it looks like the decay appears to be healing”. < so I wasn’t in need of a filling? And the rest of my mouth was perfectly healthy?! I floss regularly and have used this toothpaste at least once a day ideally at night and don’t rinse it out just spit the excess out. Seems to be working for me both with the sensitivity and repair!? yes; it’s more expensive but totally worth it if you don’t like attending the dentist like me! Admittedly I don’t drink a lot of fizzy drinks and I don’t smoke.

I am really happy with this toothpaste. A bit more expensive than normal ones but it seems to last longer.

Sehr gut. Sehr hohes Niveau an Zahnpaste. Ein, zwei der "fancy" Geschmacksstoffe hätte man sich sparen können. Mir egal, aber die Frau meint es schmecke undefinierbar bzw leicht nach Anis. Auch schäumt sie relativ wenig, was ich gut, die Frau aber ungewöhnlich findet. Nichtsdestotrotz richtig angewendet (nicht ausspülen zb) auch laut ChatGTP Oberklasse.

It has been a game-changer. I recommend it to everybody.
