Great price & This makes it so easy to have tea whenever you'd like. The flavor is great and dissolves easily. No texture. I do notice I get a little boost of energy when I have a glass.

When Nestea was discontinued, I switched to Lipton. Unsweetened Lipton was eventually discontinued, as well. Crisis. The idea of establishing a "tea powder reserve" struck me as ridiculous, so I sought an alternative. Enter Waka. Waka Instant Black Tea Mix checks all of the boxes. It makes a tasty glass of iced tea on demand. Just tea. No sugar, no obviously artificial lemon flavor. Just tea. The powder dissolves instantly. Just tea. You can't ask for much more.

This tea is pretty good, but messy, as someone else said. The powder is so fine that it tends to spill, but I’d rather deal with that than have fillers, sweeteners and flavors some corporate product developers come up with. I mix this tea with a peach-mango flavored electrolyte powder that is sweetened with stevia and that also contains extra amino acids, and I get a perfect peach tea that is good for me. Sometimes I also add collagen powder and really treat myself well. I have a couple of 40 oz. containers that I use to get my 150 oz plus of water per day, and I have developed a little routine. I stir 5 quarter-tsps of the tea powder into some hot water in my container before I leave for work. I may add a scoop of the electrolyte powder and some ice cubes then, or I may add the powder later, along with cold bottled or filtered water at work. I like to let the tea brew a little on its own if possible. I also carry the powder in a small container with the scoop in a zip lock baggie for a refill while at work. I have tubes of electrolytes for adding on the go, so I can have 2 80 oz containers-ful per day. Adding the tea makes my electrolyte drink more refreshing. If starting with hot water isn’t possible, I still start with the tea powder in a small amount of room-temperature or cold water, and shake it a lot to mix and “brew” the tea before adding everything else. As I said above, it’s a little more work than commercially available peach tea products, but it’s worth it to me to have a sweetener that doesn’t raise my blood sugar or“fake-out” my system, and that has real tea benefits plus the electrolytes and other nutrients I need. I used to drink 64 oz plus of diet soda per day, but I have gotten clean and am treating my body better. I’ve lost 40 lbs, improved all my vitals, lost the aches and pains, and look and act younger than my 70 years of age. I also don’t take any of the usual pharmaceuticals for someone of my age and health concerns. The tea/water is only part of the story, but getting off the commercial drinks is an important part!

"What do I look like? Some guy who's not lazy?" - Lazy Sal, Futurama. A couple reasons why this is a 5 star product for me. Firstly, I love convenience AND black tea. Am I lazy, tired, broke? Maybe, possibly, potentially. I want to preface this review by acknowledging this isn't going to replace a high end tea experience. This is my daily rider. This is my camping tea. This is my easy answer for all my wake up and pick me up moments. Let's start with taste: I like my tea straight up, black & unsweetened. I personally don't find it bitter when I make it dark & powerful. The value is incalculable. Or maybe it IS calculable. All I know is, it's better than bad, it's GOOD! More like great but had to slip in the Ren & Stimpy Log reference. I really like that I can mix the temperature of the water to my preference, ez pz. I also like how easy it is to mix, I use a shaker style bottle with a closed top. It's a shake and go situation. Blending with this method works really well, leaving a smooth texture of the prepared tea. I really like that I can drink it throughout the day. In the morning, I make it darker, by lunch I am mixing a lighter shade of tea. And I need to note, when I am heavy handed with the amount of mix, the final product packs a PUNCH. The only heads up I want to give (see photo) which I learned the first time I mixed up a cup is the underside of the scoop will pick up loose product. So save yourself the small mess and tap the scoop before you fill the scoop side. HUZZAH!

I really like this stuff once I learned to go lightly with it. It comes with a very small spoon. Perfect for putting one small scoop into a 16 oz bottle of spring water. I tried to use more to make it look more like Lipton instant (which isn't made anymore) but it tasted bitter. It's not as robust as Lipton, it's more subtle. Once I stopped trying to put a square peg into a round hole it was great.

At first, I followed the directions as described on the package and I could barely taste the tea flavor. I have found that a half teaspoon in a regular 16.9 ounce water bottle is good for me. It's slightly bitter but that's how I like it and that's how I used to drink Lipton Instant Iced Tea, before they discontinued it. So, the verdict is, this tea has an okay flavor but it's no way as good as Lipton. And the amount you get for your money is not whats advertised, unless you like watered down tea.

I'm an iced tea addict. It is very frustrating when I go pick up hot food and get home only to realize "I forgot to brew tea!"This instant tea has me covered for those times. THIS IS AN UPDATE: I took it from four to five stars. I love this tea. I drink it every day, often when I have a pitcher of brewed tea in the fridge. This is delicious. It has grown on me. I love the caffeine rush and is so quick and easy to fix. I have been working on my current bag for five months, and still have a good deal left, so I think it's probably just as economical or more so than buying tea bags. I am going to try the blueberry next.Really rich tea flavor, almost addictive!

Very good flavor. Mixes up easy. Comes with a measuring spoon. So much better than store bought bottled tea.

Great for iced tea! Don’t have the patience for wait for tea to cool down then this is for you. I mix this with my good host mix to achieve a less sweet iced tea

Better than I expected it to be, after I actually followed the instructions. It makes many more cups of tea than you think it would (over 150 even if you like extra powder) First cup made with this was FAR too strong and tasted like chemicals but that's because I thought I really liked strong tea and put in a half teaspoon when the instructions said to put in 1/4 a teaspoon. Putting in the right amount makes a decent cup of tea, not quite as good as my normal english breakfast but for the convenience of not needing to wait for it to steep on days that the wait seems too much or that I literally forget that I was steeping some tea, it is more than good enough. Unfortunately after about half of the pack was used, one side of the resealable plastic part came off the side but that's pretty minor.

Love it!! Instant tea at your finger tips, you can control the strength by adding more or less instant tea.
