I did see a lot of negative comments on this device - broken parts, missing parts.. however I decided to go with the purchase anyway as regular steaming at a saloon would be way too expensive. I even went a step further as I'm not from the US, so I had to buy an electricity converter device to adapt to US standards for voltage etc...First of all, the package arrived in impeccable shape - I'm delighted to share that the 60$ shipping was worth it- obviously the package has been transported in a careful manner. All of the small details were there - even a bag of tiny cloths for essential oils. The instruction to assemble is quite clear and simple. So .. with a lot of unrealistic fear, I powered on the current converter, plugged the hair steamer in, and was genuinely relieved it didn't all blow up.. The steamer works great! It quickly starts to boil, and soon after steam starts showing. Indeed, you need to figure out how to sit under the device and play with random furniture for a while. I returned a lot of shine to my hair after just one use and I have to say I'm surprised these types of devices aren't way more popular. 100% recommend! It also shipped really fast, considering I ordered it right before the Christmas holidays.

Great product! I have no complaints thus far. I added a cap around the hood and poked a hole for my hair to fit through, to maximize my hair steaming experience and just adjusted the venting to fit my needs.

Assembly was easy, small and compact, steams up pretty quickly, BUT BOY DOES THIS THING HEAT UP. The water dripped on the back of my neck and it felt like boiling water!!!! They need to add a temperature adjustment or something other than that it’s good but WOAH

Nice unit would’ve preferred something that has a stand or can stand on its own so if you’re reading this get an adjustable salon tray so you don’t have the issues I had when I first started using this. I had to always find something to prop it up on lol wasn’t thinking but hey it’s a good start for facials and deep conditioning treatments for clients. Steam output is strong and even, easy to clean and use. I recommend purified or distilled water. No faucet splatter will work. Don’t try it.

Because I am a beginner, I assumed it was just the normal sound of boiling water. By the second use, however, the plastic on the facial nozzle had completely cracked under the heat. • Defective Steam Output: After the face nozzle failed, I attempted to use the hair steaming hood. The steam output was incredibly weak. Upon closer inspection, I discovered the rubber sealing ring on the hair hood was already splitting apart. • Zero Customer Support: When a product fails this quickly, you expect the company to make it right. Shockingly, there is absolutely no warranty information provided with this product. I reached out directly to the seller to inquire about a replacement or warranty, and they completely ignored my message. For professionals who need reliable equipment, or everyday shoppers looking for a smart investment, the lack of quality and complete absence of customer service makes this a massive risk. It is absolutely unacceptable for a company to ignore its customers when a product breaks after just two uses. Save your money and invest in a brand that actually stands behind its craftsmanship.

I’ve had this steamer for months now and I enjoy using it on my 4c hair. I’ve used this steamer on children’s hair as well. It does a great job with penetrating and gets very hot, so do not sit too close when steaming your hair. The best thing is that it takes tab water and is easy to clean. Con, no storage or carry case or bag.

This is one of those items I use weekly for either steaming my hair or doing a facial. It steams very well and produces a lot of steam. It's compact and easy to store away. Definitely a yes, for anyone looking for a good steamer.

Absolutely love this steamer. It works perfectly for me and my children. I’m a hairstylist and I do a lot of treatments in their hair. I also cut men’s hair as well so this is perfect for the straight razor Shaves which I use the face steamer for this, it helps the blade to glide smoothly on the skin.
