EXTEND-A-REACH Boat Hook for Docking with Telescoping Extension Pole

This pole is well-made, extends easily, and feels solid. With the universal screw-on tip, it can be used for multiple purposes with your boat. We attach a soft bristle brush when cleaning our boat--makes hard-to-reach areas (especially the lower hull and bimini top) simple while cleaning the boat on our lift in the slip. This thing solved a whole bunch of issues I knew I had and even more I didnt know i had. It just makes docking at the ramp SO easy. Good for pulling ropes out of the water if the ski handle is floating around and I want to keep it clear of the prop. Surprisingly feels VERY strong. I can push off with it and pull myself to the dock with it without all the old drama. I have a 19 foot ski boat, so a big 8 foot stick seemed like overkill, 3 feet seems almost too short, but Im not sure I would have wanted an 8 foot one because it'd be too big to fit in my gunwale pockets. But either way, highly recommend. It's a very strong, robust, extremely useful tool.

As a lot of times we drop stuff out of our boat or we need to pick stuff up out of the water on our boat. This product really works good for picking picking up stuff out of the water without getting in the water.

i use this as a grabber in the back of my pickup truck. it will extend to reach all the way to the back. prior to this i used a fishing gaff, i thought it was about time to try something less dangerous. works great, I don't understand why the manufacturers don't include one in each purchase. lightweight, strong and very convenient.

Purcyased as replacement for the tradition metal hook. Works great. Easily adjustable. Have purchased several attachments from other brands and this has fit well all the other attachments so far. Turning it from a mooring grabber to a deck brush to long reach duster. Hasn't faded in the full Florida Sun in a year. Haven't dropped it in the water yet, knock on wood, so can't speak to the floats bit. One of the latches opens too easily so it extends without warning occasionally. It feels almost too light. Idk how to describe why that feels wrong. It hasn't been an issue yet somehow... It feels too lightweight.

Bought as a replacement for our old boat hook whose hook broke off. This one seems sturdier and I like the cams vs the twist-to-lock on the old one. Qualm #1 is the hook screws on to the handle and my similar screw-on deck brush keeps unscrewing from its handle during use. Qualm #2 is the instructions say to store it indoors.

I ordered 3 of the 12' Extend-A-Reach poles. When they arrived the boxes were a little beat up but the poles looked to be in good condition. Two poles worked great. One pole had a part break shortly after I first extended it. I believe it was due to the carrier (by the looks of the box). I sent a message to E-A-R letting them know. This was over the Independence Day holiday so I didn't expect an answer for a week or so. I get a message from Kate shortly after I sent the message. She let me know that E-A-R would replace the pole and make it right ASAP. I recieved my pole a few days later. She also messages me to ensure the new pole arrived damage free. If you are looking for a company with good customer service Extend-A-Reach will have you covered. There are plenty of reviews on here that tell you just how good these poles are so I wont talk too long on that. I haven't had a chance to use mine much but when I did use them they were very strong at pushing and pulling at 8'. I played around a little with them at 12' but I don't see using that extra length very often. If you are deciding between Extend-A-Reach or another brand just buy this one. You will be happy you did. As a side note (because I couldn't find the information) the diameter of the base of the pole is 1.25". In case you are wanting to buy pole holders for storage.

Love this. Reaches must further than the standard ones.

this pole is crazy cool reaches a horrific long time built like a tank almost a touch heavy because it's so solid and a good diameter this thing will survive forever
