OX Speedskim Universal Pole Attachment

Having moved house, and it was needing a lot of work, I decided to purchase this to help with plastering, something which I had not done for the best part of 29 years. This attachment made very light work of the job and although it took a little getting used to, I managed to get a pretty smooth set of walls at the end. I think it's a little expensive for what it is, but also found cheaper ones just were not the same. So I guess you get what you pay for. Would I recommend this item? I sure would and hope it last for years to come.

Fits ox pro speedskim

Only used a handful of times and now it doesn’t grip the speedskim properly. Slides up and down with no grip, not fit for purpose. It’s not broken, pushing the clamp just doesn’t grip enough

I have used my OX Speed skim a lot. It takes very close control using both hands. I bought this pole attachment for my speed skim before I had done any plastering, and I never used it. I did plaster a ceiling after I bought this adaptor, but simply felt I would not be able to get the control I needed with my speed skim on the end of a long pole....... At least if you are a beginner, I do not recommend this adaptor.

I wanted to try this attachement on hard to reach places. Well, I reached the places but it was almost imposible to do an OK job with the system. You just need your hand on the knife to feel the surface and accomplish good results. Next time I will invest in higher lader :)
