Poolin EOC05 Embroidery Machine for Beginners, 4" x 9.25" Embroidery Area

I purchased the Poolin EOC05 for my small business and honestly, I’ve been beyond impressed with it so far! The setup process was incredibly beginner-friendly, and I was able to start embroidering almost straight out of the box. Everything you need to get started is included — even a dust cover, which was such a thoughtful touch. Since getting my machine, I’ve already created embroidered pillows, aprons, and bag tags, and the stitch quality has been beautiful and consistent across each project. I’m especially excited to continue expanding into tote bags, kitchen towels, and even more custom products for my shop. One feature I really appreciate is the included 16GB USB drive for easy file transfers, along with the ability to connect wirelessly through InStitch for seamless communication with the machine. It makes the workflow feel modern and convenient, especially for small business owners juggling multiple projects. For anyone considering embroidery, I genuinely think the EOC05 is a fantastic machine to grow with. The only thing I would note is that while you can absolutely embroider right away using included designs, you will still want embroidery software if you plan on creating or editing your own custom files. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and excited to keep creating with this machine. I can already tell it’s going to become a huge part of my business journey!

Excellent Machine!!! I decided to get this machine after returning the Brother PE900 (which was nothing but problems). If I could rate this higher I would, that’s how impressed I have been with this machine. Directions were super simple to follow and the machine stitches beautifully. Just follow the step by step instructions and your machine will work as stated in the manual. The only thing I wished I had was a smaller hoop for small bags. I would also like to say that the importing from the USB was very easy and worked immediately. You will have to consider importing designs since the stock designs are limited. If you are contemplating getting this machine don’t it’s worth every penny!

I bought this machine and absolutely love it! It works great and is very user-friendly. The staff at Poolin is also amazing they’re always willing to help and make sure you’re completely taken care of before you even say goodbye, which I really appreciated. 10/10 would definitely buy another machine from them!

This machine is fantastic! I am brand new to embroidery, but I have already made my own custom designs on my PC and embroidered them onto test fabric. (I have a regular sewing machine that I know how to use, and I'm well-versed with computers, so take that into account, as I think you should be at least a little familiar with both if you want to buy this machine and use it with relative ease) The touch screen interface is easy enough to understand, and I think it would be easy to use for people who are less technologically skilled as well. Updating the firmware on the machine may be more difficult for some who are not familiar with downloading files and putting them onto a USB. For my machine, it did not have recent firmware installed already, which is standard for computerized machines as far as I'm aware, so you NEED to get the new firmware to unlock all the great capabilities of this embroidery machine! After I got the new firmware, I can connect it to my PC through the WiFi and their file transfer app on their site, called Institch. I am still learning how to use it, but I have no worries because the customer service is AMAZING! I was worried at first because they are only reachable on Facebook and WhatsApp, but I actually find it much more reassuring and easy to talk to them. They have been very patient with me when I took several weeks to reply because I was moving, and were understanding and supportive. I think that most people who are at least a little familiar with computers would be guided very well by the helpful customer service representatives available. DO NOT BE SCARED to contact them on Facebook, they are very helpful, and if not for them I would be very lost with this machine right now! (images attached are a test piece I did by converting an image into an SVG and using Inkscape and Inkstitch to convert it into a DST file for the machine)

I have zero embroidery experience or skill, but was able to embroider something right out of the box. I’m so impressed by the machines ease of use and also large hoop size. Other machines with hoops this big were much pricier and as a beginner, I wasn’t prepared to make a big investment yet. The Poolin eoc-005 has definitely won me over though. I especially loved all the accessories that came with the machine and the printed setup instructions. And the customer service is exceptional. I’ve actually never had customer service this good after buying a product. I tagged Poolin on my first embroidery project and they immediately reached out and offered a call with their engineer. I’ve never had a company proactively reach out to me! And today, when I had some difficulty with my next project, they immediately responded with helpful videos and asked how to help. If you’re new to embroidery, I can’t think of a better machine to start with. And if you’re more experienced, it seems like there are so many possibilities with easy design downloads and preloaded patterns. I can’t recommend this machine enough!

Great machine, especially for beginners! It’s very easy to set up and use, and I was able to start stitching right away without feeling overwhelmed. The customer service is outstanding—they are quick to respond and super helpful, walking you through anything step by step. Highly recommend if you’re new to embroidery and want something user-friendly with great support behind it.

Excellent machine, very good technology. Work

It's a nice looking machine and came with all of the needed parts to begin embroidery immediately. Easy to use, lots of patterns included, but even the included patterns fail to lock the stitches when finishing the item or changing colors, which means they unravel far too easily. One big negative, at least from my perspective, is that if you run out of thread, get a thread lock, or other problem, you can't pick up where you left off. That means removing all of the stitching that was previously done and starting over. Tedious, time consuming, and hard on the fabric. Overall, I'd say it's a fairly good value and a good machine for a beginner wanting to take up machine embroidery as a hobby.

A wonderful sewing machine for garments that is also good for small embroidery projects and embellishments. The screen size is a nice feature, and it is nice that it is not tied to subscription-based software. There is a learning curve, but that is true of any sewing and embroidery machine. The tech support is also quite good, and firmware issues are resolved promptly. After months of use, I can safely say most problems happen when in a rush. Taking the time to thread the machine properly reduces issues by 70%. Paying attention to hooping reduces them by another 29%. The last 1% usually needs help from technical support, which is prompt and pleasant.

La bordadora viene con todo lo que hay en la imagen, pero les recomiendo comprar agujas, estabilizadores e hilos aparte, para hacer mas diseños, la verdad es que muy sencillo de ocupar, hay una guia de videos en youtube que te ayudan mucho y sus contactos en facebook oficial te guian a tener un mejor resultado, esto una curva de aprendizaje y no se desesperen por que no les sale bien a la primera, algo bueno que tiene es que puedes hacer diseños un poco complejos como de anime y quedan bastante bien, pero si tienes que tomar en cuenta que el diseño sea del tamaño del bastidor para que le permita bordar, de lo contrario puedes reducir o agrandaf el diseños pero no lo recomiendo por que podria bordar desfasado, pero si tiene el tamaño ideal para los diseños como muestro en fotos, la recomiendo comprar si apenas vas empezando y quieres algo para emprender.

I bought this machine after reading all the amazing reviews and I am not at all disappointed. It's very easy to use. It comes with everything you need to start and the machine is already threaded and ready to use. The instruction manual isn't the greatest but poolin has a Facebook group where you can get as much help as you need. They are very quick to respond and has helped me so much already. Would definitely recommend this product.

It’s not industrial speed, but quiet enough for apartment use, and the 2-in-1 function saves space. Customer service answered my questions quickly. Solid value if you’re starting out or need a compact backup machine.
