Perfect Fit for MINI R56 N12 Engine
Bought this Bosch oil filter for my MINI R56 with the 1.4L N12 engine during a routine oil service. The filter was a perfect fit and installed without any issues. The supplied O-rings were included and matched the originals correctly, making the job straightforward. The build quality is exactly what you'd expect from Bosch, with the filter element feeling well made and robust. After fitting and filling with fresh oil, everything has been running smoothly with no leaks or problems. A quality replacement filter from a trusted brand at a reasonable price. I'll be using Bosch filters again for future services.

Looks like a quality filter, but doesn't fit as well as the Febi
Used this on a DIY oil change on an '09 Ford Galaxy TDCI. Last time I used the Febi Bilstein filter and fancied a change. Next year I will go back to the Febi. The Bosch one has larger orifices at the ends, and it doesn't click onto the filter housing cap. Instead, it just flops around on top of the spring-loaded protrusion that sticks out of the metal filter housing. I don't think this is a problem - the sealing rings (part of the fibre/epoxy-moulded end of the filter element) look like they will still seal against the inner faces of the filter housing and cap). The disadvantage is that on disassembly, the dirty filter won't come out attached to the cap - it will have to be retrieved by hand.
