Love these! I rinsed them as I always do, my beans and found zero stones. They smelled fresh and I love adding protein to my meals. I made homemade refried beans in my crockpot but they’re super versatile and you could use them for many meals. They cooked an average amount of time and tasted like authentic refried beans. So easy and delicious. When everything is costing an arm and a leg, I’ll be buying more beans.

These are great tasting color is good they are of great quality .The time of cooking is great The bags are of great quality and hardly any broken beans in it.

We love these pinto beans as a good source of dietary fiber and we make all kind of recipes with them such adding them to pasta,rice,quinoa,tofu and meat.They are also excellent to make different kind of salads.We soaked them overnight with some baking soda,then in the morning we rinsed and cook them.They are so delicious.

I like to make pinto beans a couple times a month. These are pretty good quality and cost less than in the store – including delivery right to your door. Sometimes it takes a few days, but with a little advanced planning, you'll be great. I presently have a pretty good supply but will be buying more when the need arises.

Being from New Mexico, pinto beans are a daily staple in my home state. Nothing goes better with a bowl of pinto beans than some good green chile. Since these are Amazon’s private label brand, much like the store brands I normally buy at my local grocery store, I was a little hesitant about how they’d turn out. The answer is they were just fine. I didn’t notice any difference in cooking time compared to the brands I’ve been buying for decades, and the texture came out exactly the way I wanted it. Pinto beans are about as simple as it gets when it comes to ease of use, and one of the reasons I always keep them in the pantry is their versatility. You can eat them as a side dish, make refried beans, or throw them into other recipes. Since they’re dried beans, the salt content is whatever you want it to be because you season them to your own taste. The reason I’m giving these four stars instead of five has to do with the condition of some of the beans. There were a few broken ones in the bag, although honestly not much more than I normally see with other brands. I’ve been buying pinto beans for decades, so that’s not unusual. It’s possible they were cracked during shipping in Amazon’s brown envelope, but I really can’t say for sure. Regardless, these are affordable, they cooked exactly the way I expected, and I’d have no problem buying them again.
