Rit All Purpose Liquid Dye 236ml - Purple

Really researched the product before hand as instructions for use a little unclear. Used sage green for a man’s heavy real wool beige cardigan. I really needed 2 bottles to get the darker colour. Despite weighing the garment and using the recommended 1 bottle, it was a lighter shade but I was happy with that. A fixing solution is also needed - easy to buy in the same range. No smell & would use the product again.

Absolutely brilliant. I bought this after being recommended it by a blog and I used it last night to dye three items of clothing and they all look fantastic now. It's a beautiful colour and I can't wait to buy more!!

Brilliant product worked perfectly to colour a very stained picnic blanket. Used it in the washing machine and no product residue was left.

Obviously, I bought this expecting a green dye, and it turned out greyish blue. Not even a hint of yellow in it. I have experience with dying clothes and I understand that darker green colours have more blue pigment, but I dyed a WHITE bedsheet and it just isn't green.

My cotton blankets had some strange stains on them. I used this product in my washing machine and it was simple, and worked like a charm!!

Good product. I had to dye an Orange Flotation Vest and was hoping for a nice green but ended up with chestnut brown. I resulted in a one of a kind vest that meets all of the Maine requirements for a Maine Guide. The appearance is better than I hoped for and along with the Fixative (see other review) it is still going strong 2 years later of daily summer use.

Easy to use

Color is great. Dyed light gray t shirt. Follow instructions. I’ve washed the dyed shirts around 15 times… color held fast. They still look great. No chemical smells. I used one bottle and dyed five T-shirts and one sweatshirt.

Impressive! I bought a pair of white vans at Ross for 30 bucks. Not a fan of the color so I used this to dye them. The end result is amazing! I had the shoes touching in the bucket so some spots didn’t color all the way. And I should’ve used Vaseline to protect the outer soles. But nonetheless I’m pleased. Will be doing this again in the future. Very easy to use. And fairly quick. I just boiled about a gallon of water and added it to hot tap water, threw some dawn in and about half a bottle of dye. Waited 45 mins and took them out and washed them till water was clear.
