Love this. Came with back up battery, but if you need to replace you’ll need a TINY little screwdriver. Intuitive to adjust time and color. Know that the gradient color is random and keep changing every few seconds. You can’t set the two colors of the gradient, they’re random each time. I was hoping for the blue gradient shown in the product image, but settled on the solid blue instead. The ambient lighting function works great.

I needed a new clock to mount on the wall in my garage/work shop after my old clock died. Unfortunately I no longer possess the eagle vision that I remember having from my youth so I was looking for something that was easy to read from the opposite side of the garage. At the same time I didn't want something obnoxious that stood out like a disco light. Finally, to handicap my search even further I am also.. lets just say.. frugal. Needless to say I did not have the highest of hopes entering into this endeavor as I figured my requirements were all contradictory. So imagine my surprise when I discovered this clock! It is super easy to read because the digits are large and high contrast. It is not obnoxious because it dims itself if it is dark and brightens up when it is light so that the brightness is always the perfect mix of being easily visible without blinding you. The bezel is minimal so all you really see is the numbers making it even more able to blend into the background. Finally, it was reasonably priced. Even for a cheapskate like me I would consider this to be a very good value. As for things I don't like... There really isn't anything. Some people have complained in the comments that it is annoying that it has to always be plugged in. That is because this is a big LED display which would obliterate batteries in short order due to the minimal but continuous power draw. If you want a battery only clock you would have to go with an LCD clock which is much harder to read in low light conditions which is not what I was looking for. This clock simply uses a standard USB charger plug to operate so it is probably drawing less than 1 watt. It is not a power hog- it just isn't appropriate to run on batteries only. I have been super happy with this clock and was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks in person and how perfectly balanced the light output is. It was literally exactly what I was looking for. If you think this clock would work for your situation I would highly recommend you buy it. I very much doubt that you would be disappointed. I hope this helps!

I love this little clock! I needed a clock for my bathroom that could be read in the dark. I didn't want to spend a lot as it's just going in my bathroom and this little clock filled the bill. It's inexpensive, light, easy to get up and running and the digital numbers are offered in different colors. I chose the blue light and I'm very pleased with it. I find it very calming. Another aspect of the clock is the light sensor which works very well. It gets brighter during the day so the numbers are easy to read and dims to a pleasant level in the dark. I also liked the fact that I could either hang it on the wall or place it on a counter. I chose to place it on my counter. It plugs into the wall but has a back-up battery in the event of a power failure. All in all, I love it and am very happy with it. The price is right and the quality is great.

The clock is nice and bright. I can see it clearly from 30 ft in my business which is what I got it for. The long cord is also nice and the time has stayed synced with our other clocks. I had to remove a star because it came with scratches on it and the cord was loose in the box. It seemed like it may have been a return passed off as new. I would watch out from this seller.

I've purcahased this multiple times for different restaurant locations, and it's been great. It's the perfect size large enough to read from across the room without being overwhelming. I like that it can be mounted on the wall or used with the included stand. We chose to use the stand. Easy set up. We haven't had any issues.

This is a great full-size LED clock. It uses a coin battery to maintain the time during a power failure. I can't speak to its longevity. The display is nice and has two brightness settings which are automatically selected based off room brightness. I have noticed that the clock will flash back-and-forth between the two brightness settings depending on the room illumination. I did not need one, but note that this does not include a alarm clock.

This is the Happiest clock that I've ever bought because, it makes me happy every time I look at it with it's slow but ever changing color patterns!!! This Truly Is a bright & multi-colorful changing clock that has become quite a Conversation Piece because, it's actually hard not to notice this clock on a table or wall when entering the room because of it's beautiful ever changing colors! To me.....This is a "One of a kind" clock that I'm Happy to have bought! I now own 3 of these amazing clocks. Pros: 1) It Arrived Overnight! 2) It's Super Easy to set-up! 3) It keeps Absolute Accurate Time because, it's a plug-in clock that Never needs batteries! 4) It offers 8 Different LED Colors to choose from that will Stay on the color you choose Or, you can make this clock Rotate thru ALL Of Its Colors!!! It's your choice! 5) It Automatically Dims at night which you have no control over but, works out Perfectly! 6) You can display it on a desk Or, mount it on the wall with the Included hardware it comes with. Or, you can do what I did and use Velcro to mount it to the wall without making any holes since this clock is So Lite in weight! Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE!!! This Truly Is A Beautifully Looking Clock that has Very Enjoyable Extra Features built into it. It's small in size that takes up very little space. But yet, you can Clearly see the time Well from across the room. It's quite a Conversation Piece when others see it. And, I'm Still fascinated when I look at it myself! In fact, right before writing this review, I purchased 2 more for my friends. Too bad your not one of my friends. Because, I would of bought one for you at this Reasonable Price that would've left you Happy too!

This is to up grade my last review of 1 star because I was eventually able to figure out that the time set instructions were missing an important step. And the procedure is different from other digital clocks, making it a bit tricky. But, I am only giving this beautiful clock 4 stars because it is still too dim in a dark room when the brightness auto dims. So now I'm keeping the original clock, and their replacement, which they will bill me for later. I have use for both clocks that appear best in a lighted room. Update - Fixed the dim problem. I soldered a 100,000 ohm resistor acrost the 2 leads of the light sensor. This leaves it always on bright, which is not too bright for a dark room. And, no more annoying toggling between brightness levels. Easy to fix if your handy with tools. Need a tiny Philips screw driver and a soldering iron. 1. Remove the power cable. 2. remove the time keeping battery on the back of the clock, by removing the tiny screw holding down the battery cover. 3. Remove the 9 tiny screws from the back of the clock. One is hidden behind the "DC in 5v" label, where the power connector plugs in. 4. Gently lift the rear clock housing off. 5. find the light sensor with 2 long leads, and solder a small wattage 100,000 ohm resistor across the 2 leads. 6. Reassemble the clock as it was.

Extremely pissed off with this product, as I put the adhesive on the to hang and then tried plugging the clock in the supplied adapter that didn't fit. Then tried brand new battery and it didn't even turn on. What a joke.
