They work perfect with the Sureflap micro chip cat door that was installed at the house we moved to but the previous owners didn’t leave the compatible micro chips.

Cat flap tag
If your need these for a feeder or cat door, and your cat isn't microchipped, these are a good choice. They work just as well. The only downside is that your cat might rip it off if it gets caught on something. In that case, it comes with another one.

They do exactly what they're supposed to do
Cats sometimes remove their collars or remove each other's collars because that's what cats do, and then you can't find the collar with the tag on it because it's now under the refrigerator or something. Long story short: it's what came with the original Surefeed, so it's easy to program the Surefeed to access the new tag when you lost the old tag. If you're not sure if the tag might be too big on your cat: the pic is my 8lbs elderly Torbie cat. Doesn't bother her one but.

The tag sync perfectly with the door. My cat is still in training to use the door but I love this option. Very pleased with my purchase.
