DUNKIRK is so dramatic, moving and visually beautiful that few films from recent years can really compare to it. Director Nolan gets everything right in terms of how the film is made, technically and the perfect cast brings it to life so the emotional import is as strong as it deserves to be. All that without going to excesses in any scene. The film balances differing storylines, all centered around the events at Dunkirk, and never fails to deliver in each one. Everything works in this film. Even Nolan's great OPPENHEIMER can't compare in terms of conception and realization. The 4K transfer looks downright incredible on the TV screen, with surround-sound audio to enhance the experience.

Wanted to see since I saw the box on a website article on physical media.

The movie is very well made, with fantastic visuals, music and first and foremost SOUND. 4K HDR absolutely makes a big difference in clarity and color, and make sure not to turn your sound system down, even if tempted, because this movie gets loud, and that loudness is absolutely crucial to the experience. As a movie, it's not quite as good as Nolan's others. There's nothing special about the performances or the dialogue, although the characters that speak the least do give off pretty good performances in just their facial expressions, but it's not enough to bring the movie into proper Nolan quality. The story, while well designed, and with history given the treatment it deserves, still isn't quite the memorable experience Nolan's other movies are. However, the events and musical score in particular give this movie a sense of suspense and intensity that I haven't seen much of before. As one of the producers has said, by the time you're finished watching, it will feel like you just ran a marathon.

Very good movie.

Excellent picture. Even though it is a 5.1 dts sound, it does the job and then some.

Good bundle

Conocía poco de este suceso histórico, pero la película lo ejemplifica de cierta forma. Buen drama, aunque pensé que no sería tan plana la historia. Excelente producto por la imagen.

Esta película es una de mis favoritas y cuando supe que Warner Brothers la había lanzado en formato UHD 4K la compré de inmediato. Se ve mejor que nunca, super definida, con el color realsado por el HDR. El único inconveniente es que no me llegó con Slipcover
