Great Melatonin-Free Option for Gentle Bedtime Support
I’ve purchased these several times now, and they’ve become a staple in our bedtime routine. They’re not as powerful as melatonin, but that’s exactly what makes them perfect for kids who just need a little extra help winding down rather than something stronger. Pros: • Melatonin-free, which gives me peace of mind • Gentle but effective for relaxing before bed • Great taste — my kid actually looks forward to them • No groggy feeling the next morning • Ingredients feel clean and simple Cons: • Not as strong as melatonin (which could be a pro or con depending on your needs) • You may need consistency for best results Overall, these gummies are a perfect fit for kids who only need a mild nudge toward bedtime. Tasty, calming, and reliable — highly recommend!

Helped my over active child mellow out after dinner
I chose the non melatonin one because i heard it makes adhd symptoms worse in children but thats just what i heard. My 6 year old with adhd has been taking these an i have seen very fast results obviously hes not asleep in bed almost instantly but hes much calmer and will want to go to bed on his own or me to put him to bed much sooner. Obviously its going to take time to-be digested like most things taken orally so i do it immediately after dinner this is only MY child with adhd unmedicated reacting this way do not take my word for it not all children are the same. But he for a while did not want to follow a schedule and he went from a range of 9pm-1am bedtime to 9pm-11pm i absolutely love that i didnt choose the other option and i chose a much more natural and mellow method that works for us.

These were terrible for us
I really wanted to like these because we’ve had good experiences with Zarbee’s products in the past, but unfortunately these bedtime gummies have been a complete miss for my son. My son is almost 3 and around 40 lbs, and we were given the okay by his doctor to try a smaller dose because he has been having trouble sleeping. The first issue is the taste. He absolutely hates them. I have to convince him to take one every time, and even then he will spit it out and cry because he dislikes the flavor so much. For something intended for young children, I was really hoping the taste would be a little more kid-friendly and easier to give. Unfortunately, even when I can get him to take the recommended amount we’re using, I haven’t noticed an improvement in his sleep quality or effectiveness either. He still wakes up at different hours throughout the night and will ultimately be up for the day around 6 AM. They haven’t seemed to help him fall asleep more peacefully or stay asleep longer. As far as ease of use, having to struggle to get him to take them every night defeats the purpose of a bedtime product that’s supposed to make the routine easier. I also haven’t noticed any positive change in his mood or sleep the following morning. Thankfully, I haven’t noticed any concerning side effects either—they simply don’t seem to do much for him. I know every child is different, so they may work wonderfully for someone else, but between the overwhelming taste and the lack of noticeable results, these just weren’t a good fit for us. I really wanted to love them because I generally like and trust this brand, but unfortunately I wouldn’t purchase these particular gummies again.

Did the job
Use these occasionally when my kid needs a little motivation to sleep and they work and taste great.

Remember, every kids different...
My son loved the taste, and texture but they did not work for him. Maybe your kid will be different but my son was still the energizer bunny long after taking these.

I WAS skeptical
My oldest has struggled with sleep since he was 3-4 (maybe younger) years old. I mean, to the point we were both in tears every night. That’s when I discovered melatonin and it worked like a charm for him. We talked to our pediatrician, and she said melatonin was fine and that sometimes kids just need the extra help. However, he is 9 now and still needs to every night (ADHD probs.) I know there is much debate about melatonin for kids and whether it is harmful or not. But I figured, if we could find something to take small breaks from melatonin or replace altogether that works, then why not? I’ve tried another brand of melatonin-free gummies and they didn’t work at the time. So, we went back to melatonin. However, I decided to give it another shot with Zarbees. I was skeptical to say the least after my last experience. However, It’s only the second night, but honestly, I’m impressed. They actually work for my kiddo. So, here is my pros & cons. Pros: - Actually worked - however, everyone’s body chemistry is different. If your kiddo doesn’t react the same way with these, try another brand with maybe some different ingredients. - I didn’t try them, but my kids didn’t complain about the taste, so I am going to assume they tasted alright. - Seem to get good sleep, uninterrupted and woke up ready for the day Cons: - Small bottle/quantity - it only comes with 30 and for ages 7+ they need 2 gummies. With this and melatonin, I always try to give half the dose and see if that works enough. The first night I only gave him one, but the 2nd night he needed 2. If you do the max dose, that’s enough for only 15 days. - Price - $12 for a bottle of 30 gummies seems a little overpriced to me. Granted, I know it’s a name brand and it works, so I am going to keep buying it. BUT you better believe if I find a cheaper option that works just as well, I will not be buying this. - I do notice that this seems to take longer to “kick in” versus melatonin. It’s not an excruciatingly long time, but definitely do it an hour before bed. Hope this helps some parents out there who struggle at bedtime ❤️

Much better than melatonin
Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime has been a game-changer for my kids’ sleep routine. In the past, I tried using melatonin to help them wind down, but it often backfired. If they were overtired, it made them delirious and inconsolable, and they still struggled to sleep through the night. With Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime, it’s a completely different story. This product seems to have a much gentler effect. My kids are noticeably more relaxed after taking it, and they fall asleep without the fuss. More importantly, they stay asleep, which is a huge relief for both them and me. The ingredients, including chamomile and lavender, seem to work in harmony to create a calming bedtime experience without the harsh side effects we experienced with melatonin. I’ve also noticed that other parents have had similar experiences. One mentioned that their toddler, who used to wake up multiple times a night, now sleeps soundly until morning. Another pointed out that their child wakes up more refreshed, without the grogginess that sometimes accompanies other sleep aids. Overall, Zarbee’s Gentle Bedtime is a fantastic alternative to melatonin. It provides a much-needed solution for parents seeking a natural way to help their kids sleep better, without the worry of unpredictable side effects.

So far so good
My oldest (9F) is having a hard time fallen asleep at night time. I know it is going to be a nightmare if she doesn't get enough sleep during the school week. So I was giving her melatonin to help her fall asleep. Then comes younger one (5M) insist he needs to take melatonin too. I know for sure he doesn't have that problem. But he is not giving up. I really do not want him to take melatonin... Enter zarbee gentle nighttime. First of all, my son loves raspberry so this was a hit for him. Now I can rest assure he can calm to sleep without melatonin. It's just camomile. Also my older one decided she likes it too. Ok then I don't mind 😃 happy sleeping.
