I tried to find a way to adapt my 2.5" shop vacuum hose to my hand tools. It doesn't work. What is really needed was a separate smaller 1.25" hose for all my hand tools, and keep the 2.5" hose for the table saw and planer. Everything else I use this hose. I bought a couple of extra fittings, so all my tools are now covered. This hose is expandable, and under vaccuum it shrinks. Because of this, the hose tends to pull as you use it, but the fitting fit firmly, and it's not bad because it keeps the hose out of the way. The fittings are simply the best, and way better than any other 1.25" hose design. I like the expandable design, and the hose is small and neat when not in use. It's just a solid product, not expensive, and way better than any other hose out there.

This certainly simplified my dust collection with all of the attachments. Have been very pleased with the product. The downfall is the hose is heavy and when you turn on suction it shrinks so can b a little difficult to manage with handheld tools like a sander. It not bad enough for me to say it’s 4 star instead of 5, just a bit cumbersome at times. Would certainly buy this again!

I have been using Rockler's Dust Right hoses in my shop for well over 10 years, and they have consistently performed well. They are flexible, resist kinking, and hold up to years of shop use without developing holes or other issues. This hose kit is no exception. The hose itself is well-made, easy to work with, and functions exactly as expected. If you are looking for a quality dust collection hose for power tools, this is a solid option. My biggest complaint is not with the hose, but with Rockler's accessory system. I have an older Dust Right hose that predates the newer locking and quick-connect fittings. Unfortunately, Rockler does not appear to sell the newer hose ends separately. Since many of their newer accessories rely on the quick-connect system, I ended up having to purchase an entire hose kit just to get the updated fittings. The product itself is excellent, but I wish Rockler offered the ends as standalone replacement or upgrade parts. Doing so would make it much easier for long-time Dust Right users to update their existing equipment without purchasing an entirely new hose. Overall, this is a great hose kit, but the lack of an upgrade path for older hoses keeps it from being a perfect 5-star product.

I like the hose, I like the material it's made of, I'm a little disappointed with the difficulty in clipping and releasing the attachments. it's actually really hard to disconnect from a tool also I'm disappointed with the lack of available fittings for additional tools. they send this with like a variety pack but to buy additional fittings is like buying Blind Bag baseball cards. but the hose itself is made of a material that I never used or seen before. I love the way it feels, I like the durability, and I like the way it shrinks back into a small hose when you're done. Im not sure if i recommend this product. just disappointed in a few things I think if they put a little bit more work into it this thing would be perfect.

Really nice upgrade from the standard shop vac hose. The attachments that came with it work for my sander and router. I do with it came with an attachment to bring it back up to the 2.5” to use with the shop vac floor attachments, but I found that they sell it separately for really cheap so I’m just ordering that separate. Fits perfectly in the Oneida dust deputy, and the swivel gives great relief to the hose when moving around. Be aware that as you extend it out to 12 ft it will be pulling on whatever it’s attached to. So your shop vac will roll toward where you extend it unless you have something anchoring it back.

This hose kit has adaptors to connect most of my power tools to the hose. The hose is long enough to provide room to work. I am confident that the materials are high quality band will last a very long time. I find this to be a gr6kit for those of us who are new to dust collection.

This is a handy addition to have especially if you have a small shop dust extraction set up. It makes it easy to swap the hose from tool to tool I have 1 installed on my miter saw, circular saw, and 5" oscillating sander and can swap from tool to tool

I wanted to like this hose, but I was disappointed. First, it doesn’t easily connect to my Rigid Shop Vac. I had to cut and splice the 2 1/2” Rigid hose, using electrical tape and a large hose clamp to attach them together. Second, the hose/tool attachments are very fiddley. They don’t easily attach or detach from the hose. There isn’t an attachment that will work with my Dewalt sander. Third, the rubber hose is very heavy and doesn’t stretch easily. It is very short, but will stretch to 12’. Under vacuum, it really wants to retract very annoying when you are running a circular saw or trying to sand. I should have returned it.
