Ardell Magnetic Lashes Double Demi Wispies

I'm so disappointed that these don't work. I read a fair amount of reviews saying it's just a matter of practice and getting used to it so I took a chance. Unfortunately it isn't. They don't hold over lashes, the magnet isn't strong enough. The applicator is of no help whatsoever. When you clamp the lashes into place using it, they either stick to the applicator or just one magnet would hold and therefore the whole thing just moves out of place or falls off. I tried trimming it down thinking that would help but it didn't and now I can't even bloody return it. Don't buy them. Rubbish and waste of money.

Lashes were great for staying in place and don’t slip. They are a bit fiddly to put on but so are any false lashes. They are brilliant and they look fantastic. Had to cut a little off the ends to fit my eyes but I love them!

These lashes looked and felt lovely. I couldn’t for the life of me get them on in the right place and they slipped right off even if I got them near the base of my lashes (even with mascara on). I got another couple of people to try and I had a go without the applicator as well as with. No one could get them on properly. They’re very long and you can’t cut them down as the magnets are right at the ends. I was very disappointed as they would have looked great if they stayed on.

You do get a lash applicator but the magnets on this are also weak so applying with it is useless. I opened these up to see that the bottom magnets are not in the correct place to connect properly they were underneath bottom lashes not above. Magnets are tiny, so firm connection is not possible they would blow off in the wind. Waste of my money!

Couldnt quite get these to work. My lashes in my inner corner are too short/sparse for the inner magnets to hold onto them, meaning the inner corner pops up. With thick natural lashes i think these could work. These were also not as natural looking as i thought, more on the dramatic side

So this was my original review: Unfortunately they are terrible! I really wanted them to be great. It took me over an hour to get them on and I’m a QUALIFIED EYELASH EXTENSION TECHNICIAN AND TRAINER!!!!! Then, when I did manage to get them on they looked good from far, But when you take a closer look they where hanging of. They didn’t stay on for more than 20 mins. I think if you wear macará with them they might be easier to stay on, but I didn’t want to! I bought them so I didn’t have to wear mascara. The lashes themselves are really nice, the thickness, length and style etc. But unfortunately they are useless. Edited review! Put mascara on and they are great! The trick is to wear mascara. That should be written somewhere!!! It took me 5 second one to get these on this morning after I had only put one code of mascara on! I now love them. Impossible to put in without mascara.

Difficult to put on but easy to get off. Move over a long period of time so I would not wear them all day. Don’t ruin your eyelashes and saves putting glue on

These are practically impossible to use, they just do not work, you can’t put them on yourself as you can’t get them far back enough, the applicator doesn’t help. I’ve even tried to put them on my husband who has longer lashes, just to see if they actually work, and every time he blinked or moved they fell off. I’ve given it 5 stars for easy to remove because they don’t actually stay on. The lashes do however look nice, but that doesn’t help because they won’t go on my face.

Ho preso le double.mini ma sono troppo grandi. Anche con l uso applicatore non funzionano quella sopra fa fatica a staccarsi dalla applicatore essendo anche esso magnetico. Una ciglia tra la altro aveva un magnete staccato. Impossibili da mettere ho riprovato mille volte ma mai riuscita, ho provato anche senza applicatore forse ci si riesce un po' meglio ma è difficilissimo metterle alla base delle ciglia naturali, la parte finale rimane attaccata a metà delle ciglia naturali. Impossibili ristaccare e sistemare perché nel frattempo l'occhio inizia a lacrimare. Fastidiosa anche la colla nella scatola dalla quale staccarle per poterle indossare: la stessa colla rende difficile la sistemazione con le dita perché le ciglia si attaccano alle tue dita e quindi ti si stacca nuovamente tutto per l'ennesima volta. Voto zero!

Don’t work for thin lashes no matter if you use mascara. Super hard to get on. You won’t be able to trim them due to magnet placing. It’s one size fits alls and that size did not work for me (way too long).

Ich hab schon Vorerfahrung mit magnetischen Wimpern anderer Anbieter. Da sind die Wimpern innerhalb unter einer Minute pro Auge dran. Die ARDELL Wimpern funktionieren vorne und hinten nicht. Erst einmal kommen sie in einer total billig wirkenden Schachtel, wo man die Wimpern nicht langfristig drin aufbewahren kann, weil sie ständig durcheinander fallen (kein magnetischer Fixierungspunkt). Beim ersten Anbringen hat es mich schon wahnsinnig gemacht, dass ein Kleberest an jedem Ende der Wimpern bleibt. Jedes Mal, wenn sie in der richtigen Position sind, bleiben sie am Finger oder der Zange kleben, weil der Kleberest stärker ist als der Magnet und man reisst sie sich komplett wieder ab... Der Wimpernapplikator, der in der Schachtel beiliegt, ist auch zu nichts zu gebrauchen. Der bringt die Wimpern maximal korrekt in der Mitte an, aber im Augeninnenwinkel und außen stehen sie merkwürdig ab, sind nicht nah genug am Wimpernkranz und somit nach zweimal blinzeln auch komplett weg. Dann zu den Magneten: das sind die schwächsten Magneten, die ich an Wimpern bisher gesehen habe. Selbst die China-Produkte haben da qualitativ hochwertigere Magneten angeklebt. Es sind auch nur 3 Magneten, nicht wie in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben 4. Die Magneten sind falsch angeklebt, d.h. immer von oben (normalerweise hat nur das untere Paar die Magneten von oben, und das obere Paar die Magneten von unten, damit sie eben gut aneinanderhalten). Ich hab sogar versucht, um die Wimpern überhaupt benutzen zu können, diese mit einem anderen unteren Paar zu kombinieren, aber da stoßen sich die Magneten direkt ab. Außerdem wird scheinbar nicht der gleiche starke Kleber benutzt, der die Wimpern in der Schachtel fixiert hat, denn ein Magnet ist direkt nach dem ersten Auftragen abgefallen. Und nochmal zu der Magnetstärke: ich trage alle Fake-Lashes normalerweise ohne zusätzliche Wimperntusche, da ich mir ja gerade sparen will, meine Wimpern zu schminken. Da rutscht nichts, wenn die richtig angebracht sind. Bei den ARDELL-Wimpern ist es absolut unmöglich, dass die Wimpern ohne Tusche halten, denn die rutschen beim normalen blinzeln immer weiter vom Wimpernkranz weg, bis sie ab sind. Will gar nicht wissen, wo die beim Niesen landen würden. Alles in allem: eine super frustrierende Erfahrung und absolute Geldverschwendung. Finde es super ärgerlich, mich auf so ein schlechtes Produkt eingelassen zu haben. Es ist auch wirklich schade, dass die so schlecht verarbeitet sind, denn der Look an sich, war eigentlich genau mein Stil (die 3 Sekunden, die die Wimpern gehalten hatten, war es ein wirklich schönes und natürlich wirkendes Cat-Eye).

This is product was designed to fail. I really don't understand how it got green light to be put on the market. Flaw #1: Magnets are too thick. There are 3 magnets placed on each lash strip. One on the inner corner, one on the outter corner and one on the center. When the upper and under lashes are clipped together, it leaves a huge gap between magnets along the strips due to their thickness as shown in the first photo. If you have thin lashes, these would simply slide right off which is probably why so many people are struggling through the application process. Flaw #2: Not enough magnets. If there were more magnets along the entire strip, in theory cutting the under lashes into 3 pieces would work like some of the reviewers and Youtubers suggested. But you can see in the second photo, the cut pieces rotates from not having enough magnets to hold them correctly in place. Flaw #3: The prongs are useless. There are also magnets strips on the upper and bottom clamps of the prongs. We're suppose to stick the upper lash strip onto the upper clamp, and the under lash strip on the bottom clamp like you see in the 3rd photo. That itself was a whole new other obstacle on it's own. It was difficult putting them in place without the lash strips sticking together. Then what you do next is to use the prongs to clamp the lash strips over your natural lashes so it sandwiches them. But when I tried to release it, it stays stuck onto the prongs and all the lash strips ends up sliding off. I would not recommend this product to anyone except maybe my worst enemies. It was a very infuriating experience and definitely not worth $25. These were also made in China which really explains everything. PS. Please excuse the cat hair stuck on the lashes in the photos. It fell on the floor many times during the application attempts.

Son muy exageradas y artificiales, complicadas de poner y eso que lleva el aplicador incluído. No sé qué hacer con ellas y están sin estrenar porque fui a ponerlas para una ocasión y ya pasó tiempo de fecha de compra. Dudo que sean las originales porque al tocarlas en nada se deforman.
