This is an extremely good tool and I use it on a wide range of tasks around the farm. The convenience compared to a petrol chainsaw is fantastic. Unlike a short handle saw and a proper chainsaw on which I'm appropriately qualified, I can't see how anyone could manage to injure themselves with this - it's very safe. I use it to lop high branches or to reach through wire fences and just for general work as and when I find it. The trimmer is also excellent and though I have more use for the saw, there are times when having both works very well. Swapping them over takes 20 seconds. It is not lightweight but neither is it particularly heavy. The handle and strap arrangement could be better but they're adequate. It is a robust and functional tool with a good pair of batteries has been in use more or less every day.

The reach is really good, have not needed to get ladders out, which was the point of purchase. At max length support the weight on the hedge helps. Using the strap helps on longer reaches. The weight is better than having to use ladders for me. The 3amp hr bsttery is lasting longer than my muscles. Good product. Dont put the D handle on the wrong way round and think your machine was wrong from the factory!! Cutting decent size growth, yet to need the chainsaw head. Chainsaw attachment now used. Small but mighty. It does not need to be any larger for its job. I trimmed some significant branches with ease. The chain tensioning is tool less which is so convenient. I did not have chain oil but for the few branches i needed to cut engine oil did the job. Heavy but brillant bit of kit.

Bought this to tackle our high hedges we have at home. Which were a struggle with a normal hedge trimmer, though this unit will reach easily over a 2m+ hedge. The extendable pole of this unit is easily adjustable, the blades are very sharp as it just cut through small branches with not much resistance. The chain saw adapter is also very handy for the thicker branches at hight one can't reach. Is a bit weighty for use on longer duration and if you have a bigger garden it's worth getting a additional high capacity battery as found after 1 1/2 hrs it was drained and was far from finished with the hedge. Overall great unit worth the buy

The quality seems very good, like all the einhell tools. The hedge trimmer was very sharp and cut cleanly and easily. I didn't try the chainsaw. The only issue, it was way too heavy to use. This is the first long reach tool I've had, so maybe it is comparable with others. If holding it vertically then it was OK but obviously you need to go side to side for hedge cutting, and it was too heavy at the cutting end to control comfortably.

The whole thing is easy to assemble not that there is much . Both the trim.er and chainsaw are very sharp and do the job. Really great value for money, it doesn't eat battery life which I was happily surprised about. It is as others say a tad heavy but if you take the time to adjust the strap for balance it's not that bad . I am a wheelchair user & found I could use it , better than some much more expensive brands

Worth the investment, especially if you already have the battery. Took me a while to assemble it, but maybe I had a bad day. The hedge trimmer is brilliant -extends really high to trim & shape trees up to 5-6 m (which was why we bought it) and I can see it being just as good with a hedge. The downside is the weight so I've dropped half a star for that. Not so much the overall weight, but it's very business-end heavy. I've dropped another half point off because the chainsaw wasn't fit for my purpose. I had a petrol driven one years ago and it was brilliant: could get through anything eventually, but this one couldn't do anything more than 1" (2cm) diameter, which is only just more than a good pair of manual loppers can do. Would I buy it again? Yes, but I'd save some money and just get the hedge trimmer version.

Firstly, you will need to get some chainsaw oil before you can use the lopper attachment! Others have said this tool is heavy. Not really - the problem comes when using it with the built-in extension pole. Then it is the "moment" or "turning force" that needs the strength. I try and make sure that the majority of the weight is in a line close to my body, vertically, not stretching out horizontally. With some practice, I got the chainsaw lopper cutting through 8 cm thick branches on an overgrown cotoneaster bush/tree with some ease (hard hat, face guard, gloves and other protective gear in place). The hedge trimmer is as good as the mains electric one I have had for years but, of course, can reach much higher and avoids the use of a ladder. Because of the reach of the tool it is most important to keep people and pets well away when working. Finally, a reason for chosing Einhell was I already had a combi-drill/impact driver set with the same type of battery. Very happy with it - recommended.

Slightly on heavy side but does a fantastic job and saves messing with wires and ladders. Battery seems to last a long time as you would not be using battery for chain saw constantly so longevity is great and quite surprised actually. Simple set up but does require maintenance of course so chainsaw oil for example. Ensure you get safety glasses and hard hat as this extends so anything wood falling from a height doesn’t take you out.

Aan de kop bovenaan is het scharnierend gedeelte van plastiek en op dit gedeelte blijft een speling zitten dat je vooraan de kop van snijgereedschap een speling hebt van 10 tot 15 cm. Met dit gebrek kan je onmogelijk uw haag perfect recht snoeien. Voor kettingzaag is dit zelfs geen veilige situatie. De machine na uitpakken onmiddellijk terug gestuurd. Bij amazone hebben ze onmiddellijk de retourzending aanvaard. Daarom is het leuk om bij Amazon te shoppen, als het niet voldoet aan de eisen doen ze nooit moeilijk over een retourzending.

Ho diversi prodotti a batteria Einhell e li trovo un ottimo compromesso tra qualità e prezzo. Non li uso a livello professionale, ma per hobby e fai da te sono più che perfetti: robusti e affidabili, a volte più di certi marchi che si presentano come professionali. Questo multifunzione mi è stato molto utile per ripulire una siepe di leylandi, perché avevo bisogno sia dello svettatoio che del tagliasiepi. La regolazione degli accessori a ±90° è fondamentale per lavorare dal basso, così come l’impugnatura regolabile, molto comoda visto che l’attrezzo non è leggerissimo e la fatica si sente abbastanza presto. Ottima anche l’estensione del manico telescopico: riesco ad arrivare in cima senza usare la scala. Sulla durata della batteria da 4Ah valuterò meglio col tempo, ma per ora sono soddisfatto.
