Following a debilitating stroke, showering is more difficult for me. I decided to try this shower wand despite the mixed reviews because I had been looking for something that would be easier to use for reaching my back. This is so slim that it’s much easier than the big round shower head on the one I had been using. It’s heavier than the others I have used, but it’s not too heavy for me to handle. Other reviews mention the great water pressure, and I agree. It makes the shower feel more effective when rinsing but it’s not uncomfortable. Installation was easy, and we skipped the little holder for the shower wall because the slim wand fits behind one of the grab bars in my shower. I put it there and it works just fine. If you don’t have an alternative to the one they provide, you might not find it workable. Since I have an alternative, it’s a good option for me. But if the fastener provided is as flimsy as the other reviews say, I can imagine it would be unsatisfactory. The wand is quite heavy and I don’t think a plastic holder that sticks on the shower wall would be able to hold it.

I didn't know what I was missing by not having this in my shower before!! It's made cleaning both myself and the shower much easier! I found a reasonably priced head diverter and I bought separately a better mounting hardware piece than the plastic one that came with this wand. As you can see from the pictures, the mounting hardware allowed me to add a horizontal body spray element to my shower. Totes luxe! I love that you can also twist the wand so water comes out the side, or just the tip! When it's out the side, it's works great as a normal shower wand. If someone's joining me in the shower, we can kindly both rinse each other's backs off. What really sold me on this wand was that tip!! It comes in handy for many things. I now have a much easier time rinsing off the tub and tile after I scrub it. It's easier to wash down hairs and other things that might have collected where the shower don't spray. Speaking of, if you need to clean where the sun don't shine, (IYKYK) YES, it works for that too. ;) This works great for that but is more inconspicuous than those other products so you don't need to hide it from your visiting family and guests. Altogether, this product looks great, adds great functionality and additional features to your shower and is reasonably priced. Quality product. It's heavy in a good way; it doesn't feel cheap at all. Adjust the flow with an appropriate restrictor if needed. Very good value for money.

Quality peace. The only thing I don't love about this is that if you twist it and leave it open to the top, it shoots up at the ceiling. I turned it on, and the water was coming from the top instead of the side and all my ceiling got wet. But it's great for cleaning that shower or bath.

Really nice shower accessory - heavy construction, feels very solid, and performs well. Nice visual design too, doesn't look big and clunky. Definite two thumbs up.

The hose is of inferior quality. I needed the product to replace a broken wand. Once installed, the hose connection leaked. When I unscrewed the connection to the wand, the wound steel cable began to unravel. I was unable to locate a new O-ring, so I decided to use the old hose and just replace the wand. The connections were then leak-free. So, while my problem was solved, the hose was useless. I chose to give three stars because I was able to use the wand (which was a higher quality). So, to summarize, if you just need the wand this will work. If you need the hose, I would try another product.

Great for pets with dual spray directions and great pressure wirh one twist of the housing. Easy to install bracket cradle to rest the unit when not in use

A fantastic shower wand! You'll never settle for a fixed shower head again...very sleek looking and well made if not a tad heavy. This thing turns average water pressure into something quite different. Would highly recommend **NOTE: rather than drilling a hole in the shower wall to mount, I'd suggest the 'OFFO Shower Head Holder' sold through Amazon- a few more dollars for a slick look without damaging your tiles.

Still giving 5 stars because it is well made, heavy, but I like it. Use the second mode to clean the bath easily. Quality is above expectations.
