Great primer for teachers reluctant to jump into the AI world!
Clark explores the history of AI and presents a compelling case for its use in the classroom and highlights its many benefits. She introduces practical tools that educators can use to get started. Perhaps the most persuasive argument for teachers to explore AI is its potential in lesson planning and curating student resources. AI can also be especially useful in supporting students with learning challenges or language barriers. As a library media specialist, this book was particularly helpful in reiterating my role in expanding students’ digital literacy, including the detection of AI bias and misinformation. Furthermore, it highlighted the importance of teaching students how to create effective AI prompts. Overall, I give it four out of five stars for being a useful resource to launch me into the many uses of AI in education.

An inspiring look at AI for the cassroom
This book was laid out so well, I just could not put it down. It was easy to read and packed full of powerful information. The author really thinks about how we can meet the needs of all learners and shows us how AI can helps us do that. This is a must read for every educator.

Book Review
This text is a great introduction to AI for education. It defines different types of AI, naming different classroom tools. It also provides many tips for AI and education such as AI learning activity ideas, suggestions for preventing plagiarism, suggestions for teaching students to recognize AI bias and prompt engineering. I gave it four stars because there are some errors such as on page 47 it says raft when it should say draft and many suggestions are repeated.

A gift for today's teacher!
As a teacher of writing, what first struck me about this book was all of the incredibly helpful, practical, and forward thinking ways I could embrace AI and ChatGPT into my practice. There are LOADS of examples for the writing context which I absolutely adore. Another plus was the focus on documentation of learning and how AI is aligned with this type of assessment. There are several resources and tech tools provided, some I am familiar with (yay!) and some that are new to me (also yay!) And the final thing to stand out to me (if I had to settle on 3) was the focus on deep learning and preparing our learners for a richer schooling experience. A fantastic addition to my resource library as have all of the Infused Series been!
