Tetuga Brooder Box for Chick Starter Kit with 10x 12” Brooder Heating Plate

Great portable brooder. I am using two. One for chickens and one for ducks. They work great, easy to move, ventilate and control the temperature on. I keep them in my garage and the are far easier to keep clean and use than my previous metal tank that I used for my last batch of chicks and Guinea fowl. The nice mesh top with a zipper is easier than laying sharp chicken wire across a box. Very happy with the product. Do I think they will last forever, no. But they will for sure last through several batches of chicks and they are so easy to store flat in a zip up case like a sunshade. The nylon is like tent material and wipes down easy.

This kit was incredible as a brooder for my baby day old chicks I can’t believe the value that I got for the money that I spent. Where I live, buying the heating plate alone from a farm feed store would have cost me around $85-$90. Seriously outrageous but as you can imagine- I didn’t expect a whole lot from this when I ordered it. I read the reviews, hoped for the best and was blown away with the quality and material. It came with literally every single thing a new chick tender could need while they grow out. I kept 9 Chicks in the pop up tent along with the provided waterer and provided feeder - and the amazing adjustable heat plate from the day I brought them home (day old chicks) to approximately 8 weeks old. I was nervous. I couldn’t really tell if it would be big enough and didn’t want my new feather friends fighting for space. I was ECSTATIC! This pop up is in fact - PLENTY big enough. More than enough space! Loved the zipper functions - especially the netted side windows for viewing and air circulation and the top access to the enclosure. So great. Highly recommended!! I cleaned it off by blasting it with a hose after they grew big enough to be transferred to their outdoor coop and run. I did not expect it to be reusable and purchased it expecting to toss it after the initial brooder period- but nope. It’s so solid that I cleaned it off, let it dry then folded back in on itself nice and flat for another time. So easy.

These have been great for our baby chicks. We did have to buy a second one and connect the 2 as they got to about 4 weeks old. To small for 8 4-5 week old chicks. Great Durability and easy to assemble and clean. Glad we bought these and will be able to use over and over again.

This has been a great setup to get started with baby chicks. We have 8 and this included everything we needed for a reasonable price. It's a good size giving them room to move around and to sleep. One of the zippers on the top was broken when it arrived. The other one still worked though. Other than that, I've had no problems with it.

Has it all! This is the best for first time chicken owners! Has everything you need! The heat plate- this is the safest product to use to keep your baby chicks warm- the heat lamps are a huge fire risk!!!! The adjustable legs are great for your growing chicks. The feeders are good quality- pro tip- place them onto of a wooden block so your chicks kick bedding into them or poop in them Waterer- great quality- pro tip- put rocks or pebbles in the base to prevent your baby chickens from drowning. Tent- very big! Our chicks were in the tent until they were ready for the coop- super easy to clean- and foldable! Unfortunately your chicks do grow fast so they only use the tent for about 8 weeks but now our kids use it as a play tent!

I used this brooder box for my 6 chicks until they were about 8 weeks old. The feeder and water were perfect size the entire time. It was just like a pop-up tent so assembly was basically unnecessary and extremely easy. There was plenty of room for them as they grew and the heating brooder easily adjusted for them. There a screened zipper opening for the roof and the side for multiple access points. You can roll up some of the sides to be just screen so the chicks can see out and get airflow. All things considered this was the perfect way to house our growing chicks. Definitely the right choice!

This brooder has worked for me. Easy set up and my bantam hen and chick have been living in these quarters for 5 weeks now.

I would give it 4.5 stars if that was an option only because I don't fully like the warming plate and I was given two tops to feeding trays and no bottom lol. Other than that, the items are good, easy to setup and use. Pretty straight forward, pops right up and open to setup. Lots of different variations to have windows/screens open/closed. The mat is removable for easy cleanup. The size is okay for like 10 standard chicks for the beginning stages, I don't think any further than that as it's not THAT big. Definitely can't have any animal that can pounce on the top of it, as it will fold down and crush the chicks, as there's no hard shell skeleton at all, which is stated, just putting it out there for everyone looking at different reviews. As my cat jumped on top and luckily the warming plate stopped him from getting the chicks. As for the warming plate, it doesn't warm up to the degree as I feel it should. I feel like a lightbulb on for a few hours gets hotter than the plate. It does shut off and then back on which is obviously probably a safety feature but good to know as well. I don't regret purchasing this item, I just wanted everyone else to be aware of the few subtle things I didn't think of when purchasing.

Mis pollitos ya tienen un mes y medio y son 5 ,caben muy bien ,me gusta que se le quite la parte de abajo por que lo dejo como la segunda oportunas para usarlo 😅,le pongo acerrin se ensucia ,le quito la colchoneta y esa parte de abajo queda limpia ,coloco acerrin y otra vez listo para usarse

Used for babies chicks and turkeys. Works great to keep them in and other critter (cats) out Used s brooder plate inside for warmth which worked great. Can take outside and hose off

Comes with everything you need, is really well made and an amazing price. Holds a decent amount of chicks too!

my chicks are super happy in there. The heat plate seems to be working perfectly. The chicks run around all over in there and I play with them every day. I even put the kid's xylophone in there and one of them played music this morning. I am very satisfied with this purchase. I had bought one before this and it was a piece of crap and they told me they would refund me and I never got it. This one here was worth every penny.

This tent will do the trick! Folds up for easy storage and is easy to clean. The zippers look cheap but so far are working well
