I honestly can’t recommend Eufy enough. It’s the perfect DIY home security system.My setup currently includes a HomeBase 3 with upgraded storage, three cameras, a video doorbell, the security tablet, keypad, and door sensors. Everything integrates perfectly and every device is packed with useful features. The app is simple to use and the picture quality is easily the best I’ve seen from a home security system. Every device has felt worth the price.I actually bought this exact camera in November 2025 and it ended up getting stolen over New Year (completely my fault — I had temporarily turned my security system off while doing some work and I had installed the camera a bit too low).Three months later it randomly reconnected to my HomeBase, which helped me locate it. When I got it back the casing was pretty beat up and it clearly had a rough time, but amazingly it still works perfectly. The camera works, motion detection works, and even the solar panel is still charging it.That experience alone shows how well these cameras are built. After being stolen, outside for months and knocked around, it still performs like new.If you’re looking for a reliable DIY security system, Eufy is absolutely worth it.

Setup was surprisingly straightforward once mounted, they connected quickly to WiFi and were up and running in the app without much hassle.The 2K video quality is clear and detailed, both during the day and at night, and it’s easy to see faces and movement. The motion detection is smart enough to filter out most irrelevant activity, and notifications come through promptly when something actually matters.One of the biggest advantages is the solar charging system. As long as the cameras get a bit of sunlight each day, they stay charged without needing constant battery removal or manual recharging. That alone makes them very low maintenance compared to other systems.I also really like that there’s no subscription required, which makes long-term use more cost-effective. Footage storage and core features are included without extra monthly fees.The build quality feels weather-resistant and sturdy, and they’ve handled rain and cold without any issues so far.Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed wireless security setup that’s easy to live with and does exactly what it promises. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a simple, subscription-free home security solution.

⭐⭐⭐⭐Really happy with this camera overall. The picture quality is excellent, installation was straightforward, and the built-in solar panel keeps it charged without me having to think about it. The app is easy to use and the motion detection works well.My only real criticism is that I wish there was a simple "Home" and "Away" mode. When the kids are playing in the garden, I end up muting notifications because the constant alerts get annoying. If Eufy added an easy way to switch between profiles, it would make an already great camera even better. Apart from that, I'd definitely recommend it.

The app is very simple to use as well, making setup and day-to-day use straightforward.The solar panel is one of the best features. With just a few hours of sunlight a day, it keeps the camera charged, so you don’t have to worry about taking it down to recharge. This makes it ideal for long-term use without maintenance.The video quality is excellent too, with clear 2K resolution and solid night vision, so you can see everything clearly day and night. The motion detection works well, sending alerts when someone is detected, which adds peace of mind.Another big plus is that there are no monthly fees. Everything is stored locally, which is a huge advantage compared to other brands that charge subscriptions.Overall, this is a great product—easy to use, reliable, and very convenient thanks to the solar charging. It’s perfect if you want a simple, no-fuss security camera that just works. I would definitely recommend it.

Very pleased with it. Very clear view. Solar on top without wired to it. Need wired to charge it in the winter if it gets low. Charger included. It recorded every movement and will roll over when it gets maximum. Can watch playback videos. Worth buying.

We bought this along with the doorbell, hub and and internal camera.They are amazing, the camera detects movement and identifies whether that's caused by an animal, human or vehicle.The facial recognition is brilliant, accurately identifying who's there.It's mounted in a corner of our garden that doesn't get much sun, so will need to be removed for charging. But that's really easy to do. Perhaps too easy, as the camera could be stolen.Eufy offer a number of options for storage of footage:- Store on camera alone, so if the camera is taken the footage is lost. Though it can be downloaded remotely to a mobile device.- Store footage on the Hub which has the additional benefit of tracking movement across cameras. This gives some additional security in that footage is backed up away from the camera. It also delivers the AI for facial recognition and geofencing (more on that later).- Using a susbcription to upload to Eufy cloud.As far as I can tell, there are weak points in all of these approaches. For cloud attached devices, cutting the phone line going into the house would disable the camera. Whereas, the Eufy hub will still maintain footage. But the Eufy hub could be stolen. You pays your money and takes your choice. We chose the Hub as there's no monthly subscription.The Geofencing option automatically switches modes when you leave home with your phone. It can be configured so that multiple phones need to leave the zone in order to switch between "home" and "away" modes.In summary:The picture quality is great.They were really easy to install.The motion detection and AI is spooky, particularly for a cheap home camera.Really easy to setup on our devices.We'd moved to a new house, in a safe area, but had no alarm fitted. The EUFY setup gave us great peace of mind whilst away on holiday for a couple of weeks.Great product!

Fantastic camera, great video and audio capture, adjustable detection sensitivity nothing bypasses this camera. Self adjusts to the available light conditions to record clear, detailed video. With built in solar panel to keep the battery charged (provided it's placed in adequate sunlight) and simple, effortless mounting this camera ticks all the boxes.

Excellent camera quality, easy to set up and install, charge within 5 hours which is great. The downside is the solar during winter time does not really charge it up so deduction in battery life for me is roughly 15% a day and maybe a 2% at best solar charge. Mines been up for 3 weeks and its ready to be taken down for its 3rd charge. So have them accessible with a ladder to take them down. My area is high traffic so my battery will deplete more than areas that may be quiet. They look great and it gives me a peace of mind after a friends van was stollen from outside my house. My internet provider is Plusnet and no issues with connecting.

Bei der Suche nach einer Überwachungskamera waren mir zwei Dinge besonders wichtig: Sie sollte keine monatlichen Kosten verursachen und ich wollte nicht ständig den Akku zum Laden abbauen müssen. Genau deshalb habe ich mich für die eufy Kamera entschieden – und inzwischen sind bereits drei Kameras bei mir im Einsatz.Die Einrichtung über die eufy-App war unkompliziert. Die Kamera lässt sich schnell hinzufügen und alle wichtigen Einstellungen sind übersichtlich erreichbar.Besonders überzeugt mich die Bildqualität. Die 2K-Auflösung liefert ein scharfes Bild und Bewegungen werden zuverlässig erkannt. Sobald die Kamera etwas registriert, bekomme ich eine Benachrichtigung auf mein Smartphone. Das funktioniert bei mir im Alltag sehr zuverlässig.Der größte Vorteil ist für mich aber das integrierte Solarpanel. Seit der Montage musste ich mich nicht mehr um das Aufladen kümmern. Wichtig ist allerdings, den Montageort gut auszuwählen. Das Solarpanel sollte möglichst viel Sonnenlicht bekommen, gleichzeitig muss die Kamera natürlich noch eine stabile WLAN-Verbindung haben. Wenn man das bei der Installation berücksichtigt, arbeitet sie anschließend nahezu wartungsfrei.Für mich erfüllt die Kamera genau das, was ich gesucht habe: gute Bildqualität, zuverlässige Benachrichtigungen, keine laufenden Abo-Kosten und dank Solarpanel kein ständiges Aufladen. Ich bin so zufrieden, dass ich mittlerweile drei Stück gekauft habe. Von mir gibt es deshalb eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Veramente sorprendente! Buona qualità delle immagini e ottima sensibilità nel rilevamento del movimento. È autonoma dal punto di vista energetico, non troppo ingombrante e ha una buona connessione Wi-Fi. L’app è un po’ macchinosa nella gestione delle informazioni, ma offre tutto quello che serve. Nel complesso sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto.
