Just can't beat it for this price point. Works as advertised and feels solid. I use it for sanding mostly, and it was very effective at that. I have the name brand version of this tool for the battery it works with and the experience with each was pretty much identical.

I wasn't thrilled with the oscillations per second/minute at first but the more I used it, I never found a need for higher oscillations. It's a great oscillator. The Controller on the side worked great. No-tool-quick-blade-change lever is absolutely amazing. I've put this thing through hell:sbells song. Couldn't be happier. Accurate yes. Durable and nbelievably so yes.

I ordered this tool and liked it right away, powerful, adaptable, easy to use and the various speeds enable you to make short work of tough materials. My De Walt batteries connect right up and I don't need to deal with another expensive set of batteries. After 8-10 uses the tool seemed to be less effective so I checked it over and noticed that the screws holding the headpiece on were loose. I tightened them up and it was back to work. After another dozen uses, I noticed a rattle inside the body cavity when I moved the tool around. I opened up the tool to find that one of the capacitors had broken loose off the board. There is no good way to solder it back on and it is still running, so I will have to see how long it lasts! Great tool, poor construction for the power it puts out. Long lasting? We will see what happens next, but I'd buy it again for the money.

Tough powerful and durable oscillator. Battery life is excellent. Cut 16 lap joints in 2x4’s with ease. Don’t need that router now.

The oscillating tool, styled to resemble a DeWalt, accepts the 20v batteries I use for my DeWalt tools, and seemed to operate well.However after using the mid-sized spade blade to cut a soft aluminum rivet, at the recommended high setting, it slowed drastically, even stopping.The off/on switch also failed, and I had to remove and then reinsert the battery to get it running again. It would not rise to more than half speed, and was unable to do anything more than cut thru lightweight gap-filling foam.But after less than 5 minutes later, it would turn off within a few seconds of turning on.It was useless.I read the reviews, but underestimated the probability of failure, seeing as there were so many positive reviews mixed in with those like the one In adding now.This is maybe -MAYBE! -maybe half-star product, because it did, kind of, work for about a half hour before it became an object lesson: unless a tool has 95+% 4 & 5 star reviews, "caveat emptor" indeed!Better yet, just don't buy a highly likely POS.

I actually started using this immediately upon receipt.It takes the dewalt battery perfect fit, and is fairly quiet.As far as battery power?It works decently, and is not a power hig.

I like the fact that I can use my Dewalt batteries. It does a good job, but it vibrates quite hard. Usefull not having to use cord. A+

Finally used this today - literally vibrated apart in my hand within about 3 minutes two screws fell out and top of the unit fell off while I was using it - get what you pay for apparently - hadn’t actually cut through anything before it fell apart.
