HDMI to Displayport Addapter

I have an AV Access 4KSW41C KVM that has a desktop and a laptop connected to it. The desktop connects via HDMI, the laptop via USB-C. The output from this is HDMI, and I had it running directly to my Acer 34" 3440x1440 21:9 ultrawide display. This worked fine most of the time but sometimes it would lose sync with the EDID data and report incorrect resolutions, resulting in a distorted image - and even when it worked it took forever to sync up. Switching to this cable and using my monitor's displayport input has solved both problems. The monitor syncs instantly, there's no more incorrect resolutions, and it actually unlocked 120Hz refresh rates for my laptop.

Purchased this specifically for my PS5 and it works exactly as advertised. The display port is 1.2 and lets me use my monitors potential fully, this issue solved my monitors hdmi 2.0 issue which did not allow me to connect 1440p@120hz by hdmi. Setup was plug-and-play with no issues. After connecting everything and enabling 120Hz in the PS5 settings, my monitor detected and displayed 1440p at 120Hz without any problems. The cable gets a bit hot but doesn’t seem to be an issue. Image quality is sharp, motion is smooth, and I haven’t experienced any signal drops, flickering, or compatibility issues. The PS5’s 1440p test passed successfully, and games that support 120Hz run perfectly. If you’re looking for an affordable solution to get 1440p@120Hz on PS5, this product does the job. Highly recommended.

Works exactly as advertised. I bought this adapter for my ASUS ROG Swift PG279Q because the HDMI port was limited to 60Hz with my PS5. After connecting it, I was finally able to run 1440p at 120Hz without any issues. The connection is stable, image quality is excellent, and setup was truly plug-and-play. If you have the same monitor or a similar DisplayPort-only setup, I highly recommend it.

It was working fine for a week but it doesn't go over 1440p for xbox & it over heats quick. I ended up returning it because it just stopped working.

Very easy installation! I used this to connect my LG-34GL750 (34" 2560x1080) to my xbox series x. Before I had purchased this, my screen kept flickering when I would attempt to change my hz in the settings tab on xbox to 120hz, when done so, the screen would flicker and auto change back to default, 60hz. There was nothing I could do to the monitor itself. For some reason, xbox was not reading the hdmi properly, it was bottlenecking. So, I ordered this and arrived the next day and as you can see from this video it corrected the issue. I would totally reccomend this if youre on the Xbox or even Playstation and your console is not reading your monitor properly. A much easier solution than shopping around for another monitor thats "compatible". This product saved me a solid $300. I also wouldn't mess with the other brands, do your own research like I have done. This market is FLOODED with tampered adapters that over heat and break within days. 10/10 I definitely reccomend if you're stumbling into the same issue I had. Thank you very much !

After reviewing this review "Does the job, but KVM switch doesn't like it" from December 30, 2025, I found that very helpful. The reviewer (I'm assuming was using this adapter on the KVM switch. I thought about this and noted that maybe if he/she connected directly to the computer instead of the KVM switch, it would work as expected. So I bought it and did just that. I connected directly to my computer then to my KVM switch. I found that it works fine. When switching the KVM this displayport adapter connects as expected. I didn't need to connect the additional power (USB to the computer) cause my computer seems to support its power requirements. I found that there is not signal degradation, cable expectations, picture changes, and it totally compatible with my KVM, the other monitors, other computers attached to the KVM. The adapter does provide a noticeable warmest to the touch, but I do not believe its of any concern, since operating more than 8 hours consistently, that warmest did not change. I give this 4 stars since I found that I was impelled to write this review, for some unknown reason. Verified Purchase

It worked great with my Xbox and dell monitor. One thing though is if you use it a lot on high gpu games, it heats up a lot. Overall, it works great and I have had no problems

Excelente producto, me compré un monitor gamer que cuenta con la entrada de DisplayPort, entonces decidí comprar el adaptador, y primero lo usé con mi PS4 Pro, y funcionó correctamente, pero al configurar el HDR de la pantalla y en la consola, la imagen se empezó a distorsionar, entonces me di cuenta que era eso principalmente, entonces decidí mejor usarlo para mi PS3 Slim que no cuenta con HDR y funciona a la perfección, y lo conecte a uno de los puertos USB de la consola y sin problema transmite la imagen a FHD a 60 hz
