As a former semi-pro FPS player, and having had gaming as my primary hobby for 40 years, I am really impressed with this headset. It is very, very comfortable and can be worn for long hours without any discomfort. I wear glasses, and often headsets press them into your head and after a while it hurts. This one doesn't do that, it is very comfortable even while wearing glasses. Secondly it looks and feels like a quality product, the brushed aluminium extenders really feel like a good design decision and add to the feel of luxury. The microphone is excellent quality, good enough for online karaoke - and very clear on Discord, WhatsApp, and in game. Sound quality is absolutely perfect for games. You can easily hear where your enemies are coming from in FPS games and RPGs and the closed cup makes it very immersive. They have a lot more mid and top range, not as much bass, so I wouldn't necessarily recommend these for listening to music, but for gaming they are very, very good. Great value, quality product. Very happy.

Alright, over the years I have experimented with several gaming headsets; but, the HyperX Cloud III? pure beast. Right from the box, it seems opulent. The memory foam headband is really comfortable, the ear cups are rather nice, and the building quality is excellent. The kiss from the chef. During long gaming sessions, I have been wearing this item for hours and it is rather comfortable—no pressure headaches, no ear difficulties, only pure comfort. Let now discuss sound. Regarding the angled 53mm drivers, what else Fantastic clarity. The bass strikes precisely, powerful but not overwhelming; the lows, middle, and highs are all very clear. In FPS games, footsteps? One may find it really easily. Fires? Boost. Books and pictures as well as music Also really good. And the surround sound improves the whole immersion experience using DTS Headphone:X spatial audio. Mic Quality? A+, None of that tinny, robotic noise observed in less expensive headphones; the detachable noise-cancelling mic is quite clear. My colleagues saw right away a difference. ✔ DTS surround sound improves the experience ✔ High-quality microphone free of background noise ✔ Superior comfort for extended wear ✔ Immersive sound for gaming and media ✔. Like PC, PS5, and Xbox. 😌 Cons: Wired, but the quality offsets that. The HyperX Cloud III is certainly worth the money if you desire a premium, no-frills gaming headset that performs on all fronts. I would buy once again in a pulse. 🎧✨

This is truly a great gaming headset. As someone that's used audiophile and studio grade headphones, this headset is very close in terms of sound quality for what you want in gaming. Picking out footsteps in a shooter is a breeze with these. The build quality feels great and is very comfortable to wear for many hours at a time. The mic is tuned perfectly for anyone on party chats or discord to hear you clearly. You can also hear them clearly too. It works for pretty much anything PS5, PC etc. and they even give you an external USB soundcard so you get a clear noise free signal instead of the motherboard's built in audio. I cannot recommend this headset enough, they look, feel and sound great!

My original HyperX Cloud IIs (Kingston edition) unfortunately began to fall apart, so I opted to attempt to upgrade to these after their many years of use and their remarkable quality. I have to say, sound-wise, these are unfortunately a downgrade, and a noticeable one, both for gaming and music. The sound profile of the predecessor just is not comparable to the default profile of these headphones in quality. But the silver-lining is that by using the NGENUITY app is that the equalizers are very customisable, so they can be fine-tuned to be closer to what you desire. It took a lot of tweaking for myself to get something remotely close to my old pair, but it is a large step better than what they came as. It was very flat and dull straight out of the box. The noise-cancellation is something that is better over the II, so much so that you will be lucky to hear anything in another room to you... if that is something you want. Although I've gotten used to it more now, I still feel a little disappointed in the loss, as the sound mattered most to me for my gaming settings and the music I listened to the other times. The microphone, compared to the Cloud II, is fortunately much better. While it's not perfect, it is suitable enough for a headset of this range. It has no noticeable buzz as my old pair had, and my voice is much clearer now. If you are in calls or voice chats often, and don't need the pristine quality of a dedicated microphone, you will do fine with this. In terms of comfort, while they are definitely not the lightest headset out there, it is still wearable for multiple-hour sessions without any discomfort. The padding is great, and I do think this is better over the older model(s?). A very minor but still present inconvenience in this headset comes from the external volume dial on the back of one of the speakers. It is very easy to catch and accidentally slide down without realising, if you are taking the headset on and off. But it is handy for it to be separate to system volume, if you want the independent controllers. But if you ever find the audio quality to feel oddly dryer or quieter than usual, it may be that you have accidentally caught and turned that down, as I once noticed. These are still a solid choice of headset, and I will continue to use them despite my opinions on the sound. It is still fine after tweaking, and perhaps someone is fine as they are out of the box, it is just a change that I was quite surprised by, as I expected these to maintain a similar level of quality right away. For the price range, it's fine. Just avoid enabling the software-side "surround sound" entirely. It is terrible. You will play just fine without it, and dare I say the quality and noise direction in any game will be leagues better without it.

The best gaming headset, we have purchased many over the years but these are a family favourite, they cup the ears perfdctly, are so comfortable to wear and the sound quality is incredible. Easy to use and the best on the market in my opinion and my gaming son

I’ve been using the HyperX Cloud II for a long time and thought it couldn’t get much better—until I got the HyperX Cloud III. This headset is an absolute upgrade in every way. The angled 53mm drivers deliver noticeably richer and more immersive sound, and the DTS support really enhances the spatial audio, especially for gaming. The memory foam is even more comfortable than before, and I can wear these for hours without any discomfort. The build quality feels rock-solid, just like the Cloud II, but with an even sleeker design. The new 10mm mic is super clear—my teammates immediately noticed the improvement in voice clarity. Connectivity is also super flexible with USB-C, USB-A, and 3.5mm options. Whether I'm using it on my PC, PS5, or Xbox, it works flawlessly. If you're considering upgrading from the Cloud II, do it—the Cloud III is a fantastic headset. I highly recommend it!

Straight out the box, mic didn't work. Tried all the troubleshooting I could find, nothing worked. Putting that aside, this headset feels cheap and sounds cheap. Tested the audio by watching a few youtube vids, this is not worth even a fraction of it's total value. I'm suprised this is so highly rated, i'll be a lot more skeptical of amazon reviews from this point forward. Avoid at all costs.

Really good headphones. Very comfortable to wear over long periods of gaming. The mic is good quality for streaming as well. Noise cancelling works a little to well. Not set up needed really other than the basic plug and play. If you do have a pc and more knowledge this is a very easy set up witb hyperX software.
