Sukh 310G Moldable Plastic Pellets - Thermoplastic Beads Polymorph

Used these to make Orc tusks for ren faire, took a bit of trial and error but I'm really pleased with the final result, especially for my first time using them. Moldability is fantastic and easy. They feel good quality when they dry and look really good once you figure out how to work with them. I had fun crafting my tusks. I'm looking forward to wearing them at Ren Faire! Next task, upper fangs for a different costume!

I absolutely love these thermoplastic beads! They are so useful for a variety of different projects. I used them to make fake ribs for a Corpse Bride costume and it worked really well. They are very easy to mold with very straightforward instructions. The texture is a little slimy and sticky when wet but dries very sturdy and structured. If you need to roll them to make a cylinder or sphere shape, I would recommend rolling them on an easy to clean surface like a silicone cutting board because it does leave behind some plastic residue on surfaces when wet.

I bought this to reinforce plastic refrigerator drawer that broke, but used it instead to reinforce an indoor bedroom door that was busted open. I had previously used a C-shaped metal guard attachment to hide the ugly break but the metal kept hitting the door frame and peeling the paint off and requiring a lot of force to close the door. I couldn't tighten the hinges as the hinges were inside a metal pocket inside a metal frame attached to the frame and molding of the entire door. The door was already painted white and this product dried white and also was very sticky so it stuck to all the right places so I didn't even have to use glue afterwards. It wasn't pretty (it showed all the places I used my fingers to mold it into place) and when I tried to use a metal plate to make the plastic flat so it would look nicer and blend into the flat door, it just hardened faster. I tried using a warm iron to soften it enough to flatten it better and it turned a light brown and melted too much. Maybe a heat gun or hair dryer would have worked better but I didn't have those on hand. On the plus side, I had enough to mold a round door bumper (to prevent door handle from breaking sheetrock when door handle hits the wall too hard). It wasn't pretty either, but once again, it was sticky enough to stick to the wall with no extra glue and dried hard and close to the white color of the walls which was Benjamin Moore white paint with no tint (albeit not the prettiest since it shows all the places my fingers pressed it to the wall). It also molds the exact shape of the swivel that you turn to lock the door (which is the part that hits the wall hardest since it sticks out the most and its a thinish metal line), so you can spread out the force of the door handle hitting the wall over bigger square inches. However it is super sticky and stuck all over the plastic Tupperware I was using to soften the plastic in hot water, as well as the metal spoon I tried to scoop out the moldable plastic from the water so I wasn't able to get out all the plastic out to use it. Apparently you should use a Teflon pot and silicon products to remove product from pot since plastic doesn't stick to Teflon or silicon as well. I thought plastic wouldn't stick to other plastic (most glues say they don't work on plastics) but this product is very sticky and doesn't want to come off from plastic take out containers when its hot and moldable, but strangely, it doesn't stick to plastic take out containers when it hardens. Also it hardens really fast (maybe less than a minute or less than 15 to 30 seconds) once it touches a room temperature object to be molded into (ie, a door or a wall), so you have to shape it really fast. It still has some squishing ability after a minute but very little and it doesn't like to be reheated and molded again. It definitely feels more difficult to mold the second time if you mess up the first time or you have some left over after the initial usage and want to make something else out of the leftovers. Overall, a very versatile and useful product. I wish it came in clear color after it hardens but I searched all over Amazon and did not see moldable plastic that dries clear. That would let me fix things like refrigerator drawer or other clear plastic objects without having an ugly white attachment. Also, sadly, due to the temperature it molds (70 degree celcius or around 160 degree Fahrenheit), it can't be used to repair anything that comes into contact with heat like dishwasher, or bathtub, or baseboard heating vents since it becomes too soft. Too bad because I needed something like this moldable plastic for hotter repair areas too.

I was new to this product, but I’m sold!! It’s so easy to fabricate plastic parts and so far it’s pretty strong. I’ll definitely buy more.

I don't know I've ordered 2 different types I've had a hard time for some reason with this you gotta roll it and be very patient if all else fails it's a great toy for my granddaughter
