I don't know if t is machine washable. I never tried. I think I've had it for at least six months. I just spray both sides with bathroom cleaner once a week and then use the shower spray to rinse it. There is no mildew and no color fading.

What material is this made of?

I don't know, but I didn't like the mat. It was thin, not very soft and did not stick to my textured tub

Is this see through or translucent? Can you see the bottom of the tub through it?

You see the bottom of the tub only through the holes.

Do you have to remove it after each use to prevent mold and mildew?

Only used it once. Was not soft underfoot and did not stick to the tub.

Bathroom mat

I love the colors and it’s very comfortable, but it’s still very slippery when I’m trying to get out of the bathtub. Just some feedback in design.

A quintessential bathtub upgrade

Gorgeous mat. Does a great job. Easy to remove and clean. Will update my review if anything changes, but so far it's great.

This is by far the most beautiful bath mat ever!. Has many suction cups and the perfect size.

Slightly slippery-er than I anticipated but very good

I love the splash of bright color hidden in my otherwise tame bathroom. It sticks pretty well even though I have a textured tub that has been re-finished. It can get a bit slippy with lots of soap, but I sit to shower and have a sturdy grab rail just in case anyway so that's not so much a concern for me.

Not as great as advertised

It's not as long as I thought, it doesn't cover the bottom of my tub. I didn't have a tape measure handy so that part is my fault. It's not a comfortable as I thought it would be. The colors and design are great though. I do recommend it, but the advertising is a bit misleading. It's a good product for the price, especially if compared to what I can get locally in-store.
