One 70 mile ride
I rode 70 miles and the USB charger worked as advertised. I plugged in my Samsung Galaxy phone for the second ride and everything seemed to work properly. Then I begin seeing the circle on the phone indicating charge repeatedly as if I was plugging it in and unplugging it repeatedly. I checked the connections and all were secure. I also noticed the blue light wasn't illuminated. I suspected a bullet connector came disconnected. I removed the panel from my motorcycle and the connections were secure, but still no blue light illumination. I was able to verify there is power to the leads connecting to the back of the plug, but the blue light is extinguished and there isn't any power coming from the USB plugs. Verified using multiple cords.

Perfect kit
This kit was perfect for my 2021 Kawasaki Ninja 400, the install was easy and it works well. The plug does a decent job of keeping water out too.

Plug and play
Versys 300 Plug and play, you do have to remove the fairing to install unit and access wiring. Tried to install after taking just the left side off but it is just easier removing both sides and the front.

It works.
It installed easily, but no thanks to the seller. I had to look up installation instructions on YouTube. It does work though.

Edit: failed - lasted 2 months.
Edit: So all WAS well, then yesterday I noticed it flickering on /off charge of my phone. Today it has completely stopped working. I can make the little blue light come on by flicking the Face of it with my fingernail, but it immediately turns off again. Yes - I checked all connections - uninstalled my fairing and reattached all points to be sure it wasn’t connection. Sad :( Original review: It was pretty much plug and play ,once the fairing and parts were removed for access. The wires it connects to are a little hidden on the x300, but I found them. Once found, reroute to inside of frame, this makes them correct length to connect supplied wires. It’s pretty simple to do once you understand what goes where… just don’t lose any screws etc. Good product, hoping it holds up.
