This is my first Pelican case, and I can see why they are so popular. The Quality is excellent and the case will clearly protect whatever is inside. I particularly like that they have a built in gasket seal to keep water out and make it air tight. It works great! They also have a one way valve to allow air pressure to escape from the case if there is a change in air pressure like when flying in an airplane. This appears standard for Pelican cases, and it gives me greater confidence in their cases. I will definitely be buying more Pelican cases for protecting my most important things. It's not cheap, but I do feel that I got what I paid for.

Great case for keeping valuable elections safe and away from the elements. I use this for batteries and electronics when camping or on the water. I’ve even used it for backpacking. My one suggestion would be to get a flat color. I purchased the gloss black finish and it is now covered with scratches. A flat finish would not look as bad after hard use. Regardless, the scratches and wear are on me but in no way impact protection and waterproof capabilities.

I like to keep my phone and car keys on me when hiking so this is perfect along with a waterproof backpack to keep my important things dry!

I love this case, but why no carabiner attachment point? Similar cases have this feature. I’m glad it floats, but I don’t want it to float away. That’s why a carabiner attachment point would be great.

Pelican makes the best cases. They are far better than tackle boxes and are a better use of space than job-site tool boxes. The latches are sturdy and the cover seal is secure. I bought this one for storing a small 1/4" drive tool set. My son 3D-printed an insert with pockets sized for each of the sockets and accessories.

This is my first micro case by Pelican, though I do own their larger cases. It's very slick to the touch, I was expecting something a little more rough but it's acceptable. The hole for the lock is small and the tie downs on either end is small so if you plan to put a bungee cord through, it has to be small, ie not more than 3mm diameter. Using this box as part of my disaster kit.
