Moroccanoil Perfect Defense Heat Protectant

I’ve tried several heat protectants over the years, and Moroccanoil Perfect Defense is by far one of my favorites. It’s lightweight, doesn’t leave my hair feeling greasy or sticky, and provides excellent heat protection without weighing it down. I love that it’s an aerosol spray because it distributes evenly throughout my hair, and the signature Moroccanoil scent is amazing without being overpowering. My hair feels soft, smooth, and looks noticeably healthier after styling. Since I started using it, I’ve noticed less frizz and my hair stays shiny even after using hot tools. It’s now a must-have in my hair care routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone who styles their hair regularly.

I love this heat protectant! It smells amazing for one, it leaves my hair soft and not at all greasy. It is a little bit more on the pricey end but I’d say it’s completely worth the money, especially because it really does a good job at protecting your hair!

This heat protectant is a God send!! I’ve been using it for a year now and will never go back to any other brands! Unlike any other heat protectant I’ve used! I straighten my hair almost every day and had a lot of heat damage prior to trying this. I recently got a trim done to my hair and switched to this product. I have absolutely zero heat damage now and I feel comfortable and secure knowing my hair is protected. It smells like an expensive perfume which I love, but if you aren’t a fan of scented sprays then this may not be for you! It also leaves your hair feeling like it has a waxy film over your hair after straightening. I have thin dry hair so I personally love the extra moisture and frizz control!! But for my oily haired girlies I would watch out for this!! I purchased this last July and I still have close to half the bottle left. A little goes a long way! I personally have had an amazing experience with this product and would recommend giving it a try if you are looking for a great heat protectant!!

I think this product is amazing. It gives my hair a beautiful shine and smells wonderful. I’ve noticed that my hair looks healthier and feels softer after using it. It’s easy to apply, doesn’t leave my hair feeling heavy, and works great as a heat protectant. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. 💕

Super happy with this purchase. I bought this because I was looking for a nice smelling, lightweight heat protectant that I could apply on dry hair. I didn’t want anything that added hold, had any styling claims, or did anything more than protect my hair from heat (and smell good). This is exactly that! It does a great job protecting my hair from heat damage. It also makes my hair feel so much softer and look shinier without weighing it down or making it greasy. Something I really appreciate about this product is that it comes out as a powerful yet very fine mist, making it so easy to evenly distribute throughout dry hair. Some other hair products I have used had awful misters that make the product come out in a dense, uneven spray. That type of sprayer makes it impossible to apply the product evenly to all of your stands, so I love that this product has such a fine, even mist. While this spray does make my hair *slightly* damp after application, it dries VERY quickly. It dries so quickly that I can go in with hot tools pretty much immediately after applying it, saving me so much time. Many other heat protectants I have tried make my hair wet for a good 10+ mins after application, which makes styling my hair take an extra 10+ mins because I can’t go in with hot tools until the hair is dry. I have been in love with the scent of Moroccanoil products since I was 8 years old and discovered a bottle of Moroccanoil’s hair oil in my mom’s bathroom drawer. So unsurprisingly, I love how this heat protectant smells. It absolutely doubles as a hair perfume since the fragrance really lasts in the hair. However, because the scent does linger, be careful if you’re sensitive to this brand’s fragrance. I am usually super sensitive to fragrance. Like I have never found a real perfume that does not give me an awful headache. Most of my favorite hair products give me a headache if I don’t use them in a well ventilated area. However, miraculously, I don’t have that problem with Moroccanoil. So personally, I love that the scent lingers and leaves my hair smelling amazing all day. If you’re someone who is looking for a simple, lightweight heat protectant that is super easy to use, will not make your hair feel full of product, and will not interfere with any other styling products you may use, this is a great option!

I live how this does my hair and the shine and no frizzle dizzle and my hair dresser used it on me and thats hiw I came upon it

J’ai les cheveux bouclés et j’utilise ce produit sur cheveux mouillés. L’odeur est vraiment agréable, il nourrit bien les cheveux et offre une bonne protection. Quand je lisse mes cheveux après l’avoir appliqué, le résultat est superbe, mes cheveux sont lisses, doux et naturel

My favourite heat defense spray. So easy to use, smells delicious, the can lasts longer than I expected. Doesn't leave any oily or powdery residue either. The only downside is the price, so I try to find it on sale.

Fantastic... the best heat protectant for fine hair!!

This is wonderful shampoo! Really giving extra volume to my thin hair which never grew back after chemo. Cleans hair nicely and smells good. Used with the matching conditioner and I’ve really noticed a huge difference. Will definitely be buying again.
