Satechi wireless hub - far too expensive but works like a dream
Having bought a new iMac and wanting to use it in place of my usual Windows desktop for most purposes, I naturally needed a hub in order to use standard USB items since the iMac only has USB C ports. I will admit to spending a week wondering which model I should buy and I kept returning to this Saitechi brand, especially since the blue colour (almost) matches the iMac I bought. In the end, I bit the bullet and bought the Saitechi, in spite of the price. The build quality is really nice, the design is great and it sits neatly on the foot of the iMac itself so is easy to access and doesn't take up any desk space. It was immediately recognised and I have had no problems using the ports to, for instance, transfer important files (future Mac converts, note you need to have drives formatted to exFAT in order for a Mac to fully read/write to them, and this format is also accepted by Windows). I know USB hubs are available at a much cheaper price but I have to say I have been impressed with this model and can certainly recommend it.

Suitable for M4 iMac
I was pleased to find this product and that it works well with my new iMac 24 inch with M4 chip. It is a good colour match and is well made. Subsequently found that Apple sell Satechi equipment as well.

High quality, works well with external hard drive
Very nice quality, beautifully designed and works like a charm with my USB-A External Hard Drive. A handy bit of kit to have that replaces multiple adapters from way back. A great value bit of kit.

Good addition to the new line of iMacs
Purchased this to make using older USB's with a new mac easier. Its a shade lighter than the blue iMac but not noticeable if you're not really looking. Fast transfers and speeds, adds multiple USB A's and C's as well as a SD card reader, worth the money.

Failure
The SD card reader slot has just failed, only the third time I have used it. Very disappointing
