85' SMOOTH-SIDE DINING CAR with LIGHTED INTERIOR - SOUTHERN PACIFIC #10267 - DAYLIGHT - HO Scale. In the 1930’s lighter weight materials allowed for the development and production of a variety of coach, dining, baggage, and observation cars as railroads ushered in the beginning of the streamline era. Materials like stainless steel, and aluminum, allowed for passenger cars to have smooth or fluted sides and smooth roof lines. Bachmann faithfully reproduces these passenger cars that are fully assembled with features that include; authentic components, factory installed lighting, and detailed interior, Highly Detailed Painted Bodies with Precision Graphics, Blackened Machined Metal Wheels with RP 25 Contours, Magnetically Operated E-Z Mate Couplers, Non-magnetic Blackened Brass Axles with Needle-point Bearings, Celcon Trucks, and Added Weight for Optimum Tracking Performance. Review: Long Carrs, nice, would probably be better on more than 18 inch curve - Nice lighted cars which actually will work on 18 inch curves, but I must say they would probably look better on more gentle curve. Review: Awesome! - We need more track now! But love the light up car! It's a bit longer than we expected.
